Good effort by the team, lacking a cutting edge but not outplayed - heads held high, it was fun while it lasted - any chance of another cup run next season please Scheetve?

It looked easier to score than miss.

We deserved a draw on 90 mins.

Great team spirit. I actually thought our substitutions hindered us and Smith should have been the one if any to go off

Can't remember the crowd staying and singing so much after the game. Team deserved that. Really proud of the performance.

Some of the individuals need to take those performances into the next few league games.

You take off the supply no point Smith being on as knocking it long they had us in their pocket

We were doing OK why change it ?
Eze Samual and Hemed didn’t look on it at all

Watford really good dude but not tonight
That was a missed chance imo

Those chances happen in a flash, and then they’re over. He was stretching and on another occasion it would have gone in. Pity.

I actually thought Samuel did better than the 2 earlier subs...plus Freeman and Cousins stand out players...Leistner should have used his left foot and Robbie savage is a twat...7/10

Cousins looked like the player I thought we had bought. There is definitely a player still there.

We weren't thrashed, and with more composure up front it could have been a different story. Chin up.

Just always impresses on me the small differences that define a Championship club from a Premier League club. Crisp, direct and accurate passing. Taking chances when they come, even if there is only one all game. Resilient defending from start to finish. We weren't a million miles off them today, but they seemed to have that little bit of class that made the difference.

Spot on. The difference in first touch is huge.

He was decent in the middle. Absolutely horrendous out wide. Pawel was doing ok and was our main outlet so it was bizarre to take him off. Smith was on his arse after an hour but he takes off Wells. Subs were just bizarre.

Oh well that's the cup for you. Gutted we didn't score but that's life. I thought the game changed when the subs came on.
I wonder how many inches of ground Ezy covered with his stroll in the park? Bloody waste of space.
First half Freeman was class and well done Smith who was f22ked on 50 mins but was still making challenges on 89 mins while Ezy watched.

Lost our pace when wells & pav went off, one shot on target & that’s all & win the game, we gave them a bloody good game tonight & reckon they won’t have a more testing match than us, well played & great atmosphere tonight

Leistner was sliding in..not sure he had a choice so he took it with wrong foot and it went outside post. Other foot it goes in...he is a cd not a cf.

Our energy levels fell in last quarter. Wells has got a confidence crisis ...but taking Pav off was a mistake imho.

We were the better side, without really taking out chances....but they really knew how to see out the game, they are premier League..with out being as blatant as PNE.

The 3 emotional games in 6 days showed.
Can we get to that level for the next 3....WBA, Boro and Leeds.
