I think a re-build is pretty much the case considering contract situations and the actual ability of certain players. The starting back 4 today, there may only be Morrisons that's here next season. I don't actually blame Dunne or Paal for winding their contracts down. They will get paid better elsewhere and may have some hope of playing in a better than poor team. Great to see the young lad Sutton get some minutes and hopefully he will get some more over the loan players who get selected. It's been yet again, another uninspiring season. That’s all folks, shoddy defending costs us yet again, as Bob said re build for next season however let Marti do it, he has a 4 year contract let him see it through
I agree with that. Marti must have worked out you can’t play Andersen and Madsen in the same team, yet he allowed them to faff around for 60 minutes together. And as for Yang! He literally acted like he was a footballer and avoided the ball completely most of the afternoon. Not wasting my time watching on Saturday. Absolute dross.Shocking that Cifuentes allowed that ludicrously cautious dross to continue for 75 minutes. Loads of families and newbies in the ground for a holiday game who were served up one of the poorest performances of the season. The CEO will be pulling his hair out.
It's the most common opinion of all this season. "That's the poorest we've been" the amount of times I've heard, read or said it is beyond me.Shocking that Cifuentes allowed that ludicrously cautious dross to continue for 75 minutes. Marti waffles on about wanting a high press then selects Madsen, Anderson mand Yang to carry it out. Well that ain't gonna ****in work out Marti.
His pure stubbornness in how he sets his team up will result in yet another season of complete nothingness. This bloke could be a top coach if he became more flexible in his approach.
Exactly. We seem to be stuck with cookie cutter 'modern' tactics which occasionally work but which more often are snuffed out by teams who are much better at it than we are. Either way, most of the games ate predictable and frankly boring. It's the most common opinion of all this season. From “Loft for words”, No presence up front, no pace in the team at all, Morgan Fox basically playing for them. Too many strollers and not enough doers. What gives you the idea that he could be a top coach? I've seen no evidence.
I was ready to head for the pub after 70 minutes.
Opposite for me, nice little trip down the M62Hoping Hull will find themselves down, hardly a nice away trip.
