Disappointing result in the end. A positive start ruined by a lack of concentration for their equaliser. The 2nd half was ruined by moving players around like subbuteo. The Brazilian was doing well at left back to be replaced by a right footer. We have to dare to do something different in this league as playing 1 up top has done absolutely nothing for us for the last 3 seasons. Julian needs to be brave and go with 2 strikers in my opinion.
Disappointing result considering the quality (or lack) of the opposition. It's going to be a long tough campaign and we'll need a big improvement to even reach mid table. Our injuries are really a concern, hope Poku is ok...

Did you notice on about 80 minutes when they thought they were getting a freekick in the Paddock/ School end corner and THREE Knob End players went down injured and bounced up again because play continued?

The second half was ****e. Preston upped their game and we had no tactical answer. Neither side came away with much credit so can only assume it was too hot for them. Not sure where our goals are going to come from. Hopefully another week or two bedding in is all that is required but we seem clueless when attacking.
August is going to be strange, no idea what the best team is yet, lads in, lads out, injuries before we've even started. Glad to see Preston haven't changed a bit though
