Just back. Cracking game for the QPR faithful. Weather played some last but not very much. Celar looked up for it before getting a strain or knock. Jimmy had a fierce determination about him for obvious reasons and so pleased for his goal. Good free kick from Paal and Koli too his chance so well. All I saw of his second was the back of their net shaking. Norwich were unsettled as we were always at them. I thinknthey came looking for an easy three points and started to throw their toys out of the pram as they were not getting their own way. Everyone played well. MOTM was either Koli or Smyth but, frankly, it could have been awarded to many of our players. Fantastic to hear Hi Ho Silver Lining ringing out for the first time this season. I don't know if we've turned the corner or whether we'll capitulate to Oxford on Wednesday. Either way, I enjoyed today and will relish being out of the drop zone for as long as that lasts.
Great result, but Norwich were awful. Three clean sheets on the spin is excellent, though. Morrison looked good apart from the ****-up that he had to take a booking for. Good to see Kolli get his goals, but Varane MOM for me. He's fast becoming as dominant in midfield as JCS is at the back on his rare appearances.
Cold, wind-swept, but elated after witnessing today. Crowd was very pensive, but the early goal from Jimmy gave us the belief. What a fantastic way for young Kolli to open his account, long may it continue. Kolli my MOTM. Enjoy the long-awaited celebrations! Looking forward to Wednesday.
Well l’ll be dammed. A 3-0 win against Norwich. Col hates Norwich but l’m starting to love Norwich….. 3 NIL, ZIP, NADA, Zero, Squat ……
Excellent win for you lads Hopefully you have softened them up enough for us to "finish them off" when we play them Tuesday evening
Not good news on the injury front. Celar likely hamstring tear, Paal similar. Colback sounds like he's had a set back and now won't be back soon. Chair the closest to a return with Michy a bit behind but being cautious with him as its his second hammy injury. JCS back in full international man of mystery mode.
Great to see us win at home at last and against a team who had been scoring so many. The apparent hamstring injuries to Celar and maybe Paal take a bit of the gloss off it. Very solid hard working team performance. Dunne my MOM for his goal and in keeping Sainz quiet on their left. Kolli very close, he did great, maybe we have a striker after all.
Nice little shout to Madsen for hanging at Jimmy's gaff for 3 or 4 hours whilst his plumbing was being fixed. Feel like we've got a squad of good eggs here. Jimmy was my motm today.
