Norwich fan in peace. The R's were brilliant tonight. Well done. That save by Lumley was brilliant. Fantastic result!

Cheers Rick, you're right about Lumley's save although you wouldn't have known about from the Sky Leeds commentator who didn't even mention it.....

Hi All

I AM A GRANNY...for the first time.

My eldest daughter Sian, has given birth to a little girl called Coraline. This is the 5th generation without a boy to our name, so I am hoping Coraline will play for QPR WFC one day. I am also hoping that Coraline will bring us luck.

Anyway I am now heading off to the match with a miguided sense of optimisim. Come on you SUPERHOOPSA

We have a new good luck charm in Coraline, huge thank you to Beth & Sian. :1980_boogie_down:

Beeb report written by a Leeds fan?

Luke Freeman scored the winner as QPR ended a run of seven straight league defeats to prevent Leeds going back into the Championship's top two.

Freeman gave the hosts the lead just after the break with a neat finish from close range.

Patrick Bamford and Stuart Dallas both brought fine saves from R's goalkeeper Joe Lumley as Leeds pressed for an equaliser but the hosts held out for a vital victory to end their slump.

Marcelo Bielsa's side would have gone top with a win but defeat meant they remain third, behind second-placed Sheffield United on goal difference.

Leeds had all the play in the first half but were unable to make the most of the chances they did create, Lumley producing a good save to deny Tyler Roberts.

Freeman, who was the game's stand-out player, scored what proved to be the winner four minutes after the restart with a clever finish from a low Massimo Luongo centre.

The R's, who move up 17th, had a great chance to quickly make it 2-0 but Leeds goalkeeper Kiko Casilla denied Nahki Wells brilliantly after he had been played in by Freeman.

Thereafter the visitors dominated but a combination of good keeping from Lumley and poor finishing meant they fell to a second defeat in five games.

They can go top of the table with victory over fellow promotion hopefuls West Brom on Friday, while QPR visit west London rivals Brentford on Saturday.

If Leeds had been spying on Rangers, do you think they have grounds to appeal due to the fact we have now beaten them twice? And we played pretty badly in the middle in the middle games?? Maybe they thought unlucky 94 for the Superhoops….

****ing brilliant! You go through so much **** and then every now and then it's all worth while. Not a classic game or a stunning performance by Rangers, but such a battling, committed performance from everyone in a hooped shirt. Freeman is MOM pretty much every game but tonight he surpassed himself. What a top player, and probably good enough to play at a higher level. Superb.
