Ooh a kebab.Nice one Beth. I walked the dog and had a scotch and a small cigar. Only used to smoke one when we won a game but clearly that has become self defeating so now I smoke one only when we lose. I really need to stock up with more
Are you still in Qatar Wubba? A small cigar once or twice a week is my retirement vice. One is smoked on my way to the ground, so the day isn’t completely lost, though I enjoy them more sitting down with a glass of something. It’s quite pricey over here to get a decent smoke.
Yep, still milking the expat Gravy Train although retirement beckons. The future second Mrs WBA2 is Lebanese so I'll be spending quality time in a country that mirrors the state of our preferred football club Although booze here is taxed at double rate - think £100 for a bottle of JW Black, £20 for a bottle of Jacobs Creek nonsense, tobacco is still the opiate of the masses and accordingly cheap as chips. I am doing a lot of Zino robustos and can highly recommend Cusanos which are Davidoffs secondary line A cigar and a scotch one of life's small pleasures
I'll be back for our first Div 1 home match at HQ, hopefully against the Owls, will bring a small selection of Cubans for your delectation
I’m going to have a Montecristo No5 and a talisker now to round off the weekend. I treat myself to Davidoffs so I like the sound of the Cusanos, robustos again? And congratulations on the forthcoming nuptials.
Thanks mate, second time around we are all more forgiving, plus she's completely oblivious to anything football related which quite frankly makes for a calmer home life. My lad seems to have inherited the QPR mantle of pain and can be heard cursing managers, refs and any ex QPR player we come up against. It's a generational thing Yes robustos, a 30 minute smoke is enough.
The first goal against Coventry was a good example of the lack of leadership on the pitch. Three QPR players around the ball and a 1 second hesitation was enough for them to lose possession from whence the first goal came. Watching the highlights is bad for my health.
