QPR 4-2 Blackburn | Video | Watch TV Show | Sky Sports https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...tions/championship/11828332/qpr-4-2-blackburn Not sure on their penalty, and don't know how the ref could have given it so quickly when there were a pile of players between him and where the incident took place....
They've got an excuse in Nigeria as it's in a third world country (I'm assuming you don't mean Portugal, as that's a lovely town). Blackburn has no such excuse, and would not look out of place as a suburb of Baghdad
Random thoughts: Despite another clean sheet gone begging there was another immense performance by Leistner. It's hard to believe that MW didn't want him. Cameron tired badly but was solid before that back in his best position in front of the back 4. It's so frustrating listening to some fans criticising Eze when things are less than perfect. Chair was brilliant in spells. No idea why he was subbed when still full of running.
It was a good solid performance without excessive possession statistics. The whole team looked good and fluid. Eze was pure class, as were Chair and Manning. I thought Scowen also played rather well! We were efficient with our chances and all four goals were good team efforts scored by four different players. I am also please that BOS got on the score sheet. The only small negative for me was that we did concede two goals. One day, we will keep a clean sheet! Beth, thanks for “fixing” the result for my birthday!
This is Tony Mowbray's comments after game...I thought we were more the opposite of this for this season? "QPR play on the counter-attack and are good at what they do, they sit lots of men behind the ball and they break - and today when we exposed our defenders we got found out a little bit"
Managers will say any old bollocks when under a bit of pressure. We’re more open than Keegan’s Newcastle.
Win lose or draw, playing well with a young attacking and vibrant squad feels good I'm liking the Warburton Way more than the Warnock era albeit Warnock got the results time after time. It was gritty at the back with Adel's magic. This time around it feels like we have an abundance of up and coming talent
Such fun. That's what it's supposed to be like - good passing with an end product. The difference from Wednesday was that, whilst we ostensibly only had one up front again, we got people - most often Chair - alongside or ahead of the front man and consequently made chances. Top finishing by Wells (way better than Hugill for me), BOS and Eze, and then Hugill came on and got a proper centre-forward's goal. Cameron, who had been awful recently at CB, was excellent in front of the back four, where Leistner had another top game. Blackburn were pretty toothless, but we still managed to conceded two - which is a worry - but still a good performance overall.
“Slick” QPR - I like the term as it well describes our style of play (when it works!) https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-qpr-blackburn-championship-report-051219
