I'm glad he picked out Manning as MotM as I personally had overlooked him in my jubilant post match comments. The degree to which he has come on as a player in the last 18 months is nothing short of incredible. His ability to play whipped crosses into that no-mans-land in front of the keeper is a major factor in our success this term. One slight niggle is his style of standing off the opposition wing back when defending to such an extent that there is always an easy out option when we put teams under pressure. I know, I know! It's just the way they coach them now but it doesn't mean I have to like it or that the modern coaching clones of football are always right. Take this dogmatic playing out from the back nonsense for example...

Unfortunately, I couldn't get to the game on Saturday as we're checking out universities for my daughter. What a great result!
