Squeezing a point out of a bad team selection and poor choice of tactics is not so bad in the end. We do seem to have a resilience and don’t give up the game tbf.
MW does seem to be more prepared to make the changes than he was over the last couple of seasons … and it’s paying off.
Also a point when we had a lot of regulars out, and after a tough week.

Got out of jail just, first half we was totally out played & didn’t have a clue until subs on & changed formation, when have we took off two players before half time before? 2nd half better & in the the end just about deserved a draw, they done their homework & closed us down & much quicker than us, relief

Feels like a win. Me and the lad were dancing around the living room when Charlie scored.

All in all, a point is the most we deserved after a terrible first half but much improved second.
To be fair, with injuries and suspensions, as well as a hard fixtures run that's a great result from 0-2 down.

Warbs got it wrong at the start, but he had a lot of selection problems and at least put things right quickly. Chair was probably our only decent performer first half. Dozzell and Thomas were dazzlingly poor, especially Dozzell. Worst I've seen Johansen play, but apparently he's way short of match fitness.
2nd half, I thought Chair, Willock and especially Albert were outstanding.
Austin didn't look fit, but his movement for the equaliser was top drawer. A goal scorer, simple as.

A lovely feeling to get a point from that!!

Watched the first half and was half relieved when I had to leave for the Eurostar home. So poor. Listened to the radio en route to the station, and arrived at about 85 minutes.

Such a good feeling when my boy asked me the final score, and I told him we'd lost, and checked on my phone to show him the final score and saw we'd equalised.

Didn't deserve a point from what I watched, and a good sign to come away with a point that we didn't deserve. Onwards and upwards...YOU R'SSS!!!

This time last year we'd have folded and lost 3 or 4, we've grown a pair since then...

Pretty much undeserved point but felt great. Ball, Uncle Albert and Dunne who is a no nonsense CB instilled some urgency which the others eventually picked up, while Barnsley focussed on time wasting instead of scoring more goals which on the evidence of the first half they could have done easily.

At least this version of the Rs doesn’t give up . Hopefully some learning from that. Last thing we need is the Oxford match.

How is your son, Col? Is he back to full fitness?

I think the point was deserved, especially with the 2nd half chances we created.
Lucky though, as Chair was offside for his goal.

I really like the look of Dunne, who possibly should have scored with that header.
