Do you really want a list? It would be worth a sub-thread all on its own with all the things that could go wrong if we all took a vow to name just one from a whole host of banana skins. I'll start with one that is not so obvious. Wet leaves on the train line down from Barnsley. And one that is football related. The ref saw the game on Wednesday night and decides to exact retribution sending off Austin in the first 5 minutes.
I’m going to be there for a start. Never a good omen. The anti-talisman.

I am expecting a tough game. Barnsley will be well set up for us.

I expect them to sit back, press hard and then to quickly break on the counter-attack. We always seem to rather struggle when we need to break down massed organised defences. Should we score, then then the dynamics of the game will change in our favour.

I am looking forward to the gameand really hope that we will win comforatably, but currently I believe that our style of play is more suited to away matches, than at home. I hope that the local home support will make the 12th man!

We never seem awake for these early 12.30 kick offs, both players and support. So hope that changes for tomorrow, as has so much else with Warburton.

Oh dear. The start of the 'I'm a jinx, curse and burden to my team and a massive disappointment to my fellow Rs" paranoia. Chill dude. Valerian Ismael is gone and I don't see his replacement repeating his achievements. Damn it. I've now jinxed it in their favour with that bold wildly over-optimistic prediction.

Agree. We tend to have a “hangover” effect, especially after a good away win. This is often shown to a much lower placed team.

Let’s hope that we show the correct “character” tomorrow.

I am clearly trying to control my expectations!

From the supporter perspective, I’ve just started working on ensuring that my ‘hangover effect’ is fully present tomorrow morning.

Enjoying your Aldi own brand lager?

Coming to a game soon? Would be good to see you down the C&S again.

Hoping to get to a game this season at some point, just gotta try and sort it when my elder lad is off as well. Failing that I could work the game but dunno how I’d cope missing the last 10 mins when 1 up and having to deal with someone who’s drank too much.

I prefer ‘White Lightning’ FYI ;)

Just had a close call, thought I might have to abandon tomorrow, wife feeling feverish, did the lateral flow test…..negative, phew. Another case of ‘feeling a bit ill….aaaargh, must be COVID…….not’.
