The promise at the start of the season by Sir Les and Ramsey of consolidating with youth was ridiculous, I said on here that our youth was rubbish and clearly Ramsey has seen that first hand.

Our signings have been pretty uninspiring and missed a couple of vital areas that were crying out for quality and we're seriously short upfront.

Worst of all though are the team set-up, game-plan and a total inability to tactically change the game for better when we are struggling. If we were playing well with these results there would be little disharmony, what we are seeing is clueless.

TF stoked it up last week and the Warnock appointment was barmy as it leaves Ramsey a dead man walking and HE knows it. Leeds look quite sane at the moment...

It has been in the media that JET got a knock in training Friday, felt ok to play Saturday, but was taken off late to preserve him for last night with Austin still injured. I knew why he was going off again late last night thousands of miles away, the BBC thought the same, don't the fans who are there and boo the substitution have brain's, or are they also the ones who have wanted Ramsey out from Day 1.
Well if that was the case, wouldn't it have been a good idea to name a striker on the bench?

Wind it in. 'vile sentiment' - aqualung is just as bad but passive aggressive- just because he didn't swear- but instead laugh's and says you talk rubbish without raising a single point back is abuse nonetheless

To be fair its hard to respect your opinion.

You want celebration that we somehow kept a clean sheet and turned in another terrible performance.

5 months since the last good performance. If you understand the context, go to games, then you understand the feeling.

It's the feeling Peter that is the challenge mate
We all want to win and play like Rangers but honestly when have we since our promotion under Wannock?
If we keep switching just to fail again then what is that
I expect us to go down a bit before we can think move up
A clean sheet should be enough for a team letting in over 2 goals a match
I believe a team runs on confidence in this league that's is something you can't coach IMO
We know the league is very tight and we are where we are
Any run on form and thus confidence has to start somewhere
Style of play will develop from there IMO

Wise words.

Overall a hugely disappointing game last night

True, we actually managed to keep a clean sheet, though as much down to some generous refereeing and poor finishing by Wednesday, as solid defending

Elsewhere however we rarely looked like a cohesive unit. Our attacking play all too often finished with Phillips just kicking the ball as hard as possible, or the furthest player forwards simply being crowded out by the Wednesday defence, whilst in midfield we didn't battle enough and spent long period ball watching and allowing Wednesday to dictate play. Our best moves came (as they have all season) when we move the ball quickly forwards on the ground

Our only real strike on target (from Chery following a superb cross field ball from Sandro) was brilliantly saved by the Wednesday keeper

Apart from that effort we looked almost as disjointed as we did at Birmingham on Saturday, and I'm clearly not the only one to be baffled by some of Ramsey's substitutions

Clearly he sees the players a lot more than I do, but I really don't understand why Doughty isn't in the side ahead of Luongo. The latter just looks consistently too lightweight

One final point - what is the sudden obsession with long throws? I can't remember any real advantage being gained, bar one corner which we wasted with a poor delivery

You clearly did not attend what was the very worst match I have had the misfortune of witnessing for many many years. Utterly atrocious.

This is how I feel. It was utterly dire - yet the frustrating thing is, there are glimpses of talent from our players from which you can see what the team could be under a decent manager.

I have a 100 mile round trip from West Sussex. I'm seriously wondering whether I want another trip on Saturday to watch more of this cr*p. Think I'll stay in and watch the rugby semi-final.

Ok....I disagree IWAWR, it was not the worst match ...seen worse and more recently too....somewhat an over exaggeration
However it was more than bad it was worrying.

We were not that bad, and I could see a sembance of a good team in there....We were within inches of taking over that match....BUT WE DIDN'T

Clint was organising the back four better (should have been sent off admittedly), Hall (one bad slip) but good enough for this level, Konch too. The defence looked far more solid!

Very productive players in Luongo, Chery and Sandro,......Phillips can win matches
All great ....so why am I worried.....because we have all these gifts (gifts to be about the 6-7-8th spot in the championship), and we are struggling against Wednesday, Bolton etc.
That says to me that the brains is not there, the gel is not there, the cleverness to get us across the line is not there.
So having been one of CR strongest supporters...continuity, consolidation and just steadyness this year (I do not want to be promoted this year...we are not good enough)....I cannot see any foundations being laid...That is why I am worried.

And worse than me being worried.....the players are worried....
I cannot see this ending happily

They don't need you to answer every post and state the bleeding obvious. You have your thoughts and perspective on QPR, some fans are more passionate than you and it means more to them and don't see it the way you do. Please stop trying to be a QPR evangelist. .

I appreciate all your points 9's, BUT......as you say this a forum which acts as a sounding board for QPR fans. As you again say in the highlighted bit above, I have my own thoughts etc on this so why am I not allowed to express these perspectives without being accused of being on a wind up. What you are really saying is that only views that conform to the majority are acceptable. Surely as long as anyone abides by the rules they can post what they like about QPR...all thoughts and perspectives should be accepted. It's not about being an evangelist as you call it, it's about voicing my perspective on things about QPR on a QPR forum. Whether that perspective differs from the vast majority is neither here nor there. It's about personal opinion. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Warnock looks like a Fernandes/Mittal compromise. Amit says, we have to do something to stop the slide. Tony says, I'm not replacing Ramsay, he's my man. They agree they'll bring in Warnock to bolster Ramsey. (The recall of Hill in defence would have been Warnock's suggestion.) So we may have Ferdinand, Warnock and Ramsey picking the team.

...what a mess.

I quite enjoyed the game
The back 5 were more solid
Hall great again. Clint saved us after nearly killing us.
Sandro shielded them better and drove forwards
Chery, Luongo, Phillips, JET all mobile - Luongo seemed to have got stronger and was linking well with Phillips 1st half especially, Chery very mobile
Toszer - probably his least bad performance for us
Fer as sub did a bit
Wayward final balls I grant you, Phillips doesn't track back or ever hit the target but when it clicks we will be magnificent and climb the massive 4 places and 5 points required to get into the playoffs. Its a sh*t league and we've got an OK team
The makings of an OK team at least.

The only thing bringing them down now is the stupid bl**dy songs which start up far far too early.
If you walk into work tomorrow and your boss immediately tells you that you are a useless ***y you are not going to be at your best are you!

Show the love - Henry will then shoooooooooooooot!

I genuinely admire your positivity here, but we were playing a very average side (albeit with outstanding away support numbers for a Tuesday night that far from home) - just the sort of side that we should be routinely beating at home with a squad like ours

For all the improvements in defence and midfield, we still looked for the most part toothless in attack (has JET now scored his goals for the season??), and to be unable to test the opposition keeper more than once in 90 minutes really is poor

I want to see us playing more exciting, adventurous football, and I just can't see that happening with Ramsey managing. The last 20 or so minutes last night felt to me as though the team had been told to settle for a goal less draw. Where was the urgency? Another couple of substitutions to get fresh legs running at the opposition?

I don't expect us to dominate this league, but let's at least have some entertainment!!

Fair play to you Waterboy. I can't believe Kia stooped this low. He's going to have to apologise to everyone on the Board and especially our Mods when he dares to show his face again.

Swordsie give it a rest please there's a good chap.........this will just cause more angst when tensions are already running high in some quarters......this is not helping matters......

Think you have to stop looking at games in isolation Beth. Sheffield Weds fans can be a lot more aggrieved then us to not get the 3 points anyway.

In 9months in charge Ramsey’s in his 14 competitive homes games he has 3 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses. And those wins were against Rotheram, Newcastle (who were in freefall./ losing something like 12 out of their last 13 at the time) and Bolton (just). 4 draws and 7 loses. That is atrocious however you spin it and however much on the last game you focus on a snap volley and comfortable save over a definite red card and a penalty to the opposition.

Also in that time the manner of the losses and performances in general (even in the victories like against lowly Bolton) have been dreadful. I think you need to analyse the team’s performances as a whole and its nowhere near good enough.

Also this consolidation rubbish is the biggest myth. Cant see a rational argument why we will become a better team after losing likes of Fer, Austin and Sandro and replacing them with lower quality players? Why as we build a team we will be exempt from having the stars of the team poached by bigger teams? Just look as the example of Brentford, many of their fans felt it too soon to get promoted last year. They’ve gone backwards and seen likes of Gray and Odubajo poached.

Promotion and relegation is actually if used properly a tool for improving the team and the club as it gives you resources.

Based on the last 10 years we have a 3% chance of getting promoted in our second season after relgation.Only one team has managed it. Its actually far more likely we will get relegated. Yet to see a coherent argument for consolidation. There is no consolidation with an idiot in charge

Consolidation isn’t exclusive to staying in the same league. What we actually want is to improve as a club- Get the rubbish players (and managers) and ‘bad eggs’ out and bring better players and ‘the right sort’ in.

The more money you have and the higher league you’re in the easier that is and it’s a lie to think otherwise.

Aston Villa and Sunderland have been trying to consolidate in the premiership for a number of years but will likely get relegated.

Watford got promoted and signed 15 players and will probably stay up and build from there.

Really don’t see an onuce of logic in the consolidation argument.
