Yes, very sensible to give JET a rest in those circumstances but, if Ramsey knows he's vulnerable, surely it's ludicrous not to have a recognised striker on the bench i.e. Polter.
Re Super hoop quote above: I'm not sure I agree with all of that. JET, Chery, Hall and Luongo have all looked really good so far. Perch had been Wigan's POTY for two consecutive seasons so I thought him signing was a bit of a coup and I don't understand why he's underperformed so badly. Polter could be a useful squad player, if only we used him. Gladwin may still turn out OK if we need him. Toszer was part of the Watford team that got promoted so, on paper, he looked promising (and it's still early days for him at QPR). I'd make the same comment about Angella. I'd agree we needed more cover up front and another RB but I'd rather not buy just anyone if the right player's not available.
Sheff Wed have now had a couple of successful away games after a 2-1 win at Rotherham today, picking up 4 pts. Only wish we could lay claim to such an achievement.
