Was anyone actually at the game today who can shed some light on what it was actually like rather than just all jumping to conclusions that we were sh1te just because we didn't win today.......?

Don't need to be at the game to realise that JFH isn't up to the job.
Also, a look through the match stats suggest we were mullered all 2nd half.

In your opinion......

Secondly maybe Reading were actually a decent side and better than us, and at the end of the day a point isn't a bad result. I don't know as I'm 400 miles away which is why I'd like to hear from someone who was at the game.....

Was at game.
They were better at keeping the ball and actually passing it to each other rather than misplaced pass again and again.
I think we managed three occasions to actually string about 3 passes together. Poor and not because Reading are marginally better. Their No 23 - Williams was a handful.all.game and deserved his goal.
Second half better for about 20 mins but they were all over us like a rash at the end.
Pole's goal excellent as had a lot to.do after the nive through lob.
Great header for Seb at about 80 mins.and.we all.thought it was.in.but sadly.not.
Really not great. If that game was a dog, you'd have put it out if it's misery at half time!
Onwards and ....somewhere. You Rssss.

Yep, that's it. This league is full of really good teams and JFH is doing a marvelous job.

Two shots on target at home all game FFS!

Thanks RTID.

Have you read what RTID posted? He was there.

Col, from todays game we are indeed. However we won with some luck against Fulham so perhaps today was a fair result. Reading will winder how they did not win.

I was surprised to see Mass on the bench after his Fulham performance but maybe he was on international duty??

Was relieved to see Silla coming on but he was pretty quiet though perhaps not enough time to get in the mix.

I've really wanted Connor to do well, and perhaps he still will, but it's looking less and less likely. I like his speed and determination. It does appear he's another Mackie but without the purple patch that Mackie had at least with 6 in 7 after signing from Plymouth.

The crowd DID resong to the Club's request.for more noise but you can only keep cheering poor play for so long.

I dI think we are / can be better than we were today. Whether that's down to Jimmy or work in progress or both I.really do not.knw

at game & thought it was a fair result, reading neat & tidy with & a bit over done at times, good goal from the pole. but we gave them a goal as he had time a space to pick his spot, smithies had a good game again. A lot of huffing & puffing in 2nd Half but no end product even with 3 strikers on, bfg should have buried his header & that's about in 2nd half.didnt push them high enough again.

Many thanks. I like the honesty of your last paragraph. Sounds like we were a bit fortunate to get the point like we were to get three last time out.

Just seen their goal on SSN another uncontested cross from Onuoha's side. If JFH has to play Henry, play him at right back Ned just dont cut it in that position.
