I didn't like the look of the starting team but Ramsey deserves credit as it's hard to argue with a 3-0 win.
First half was dreadful. Dons played the better football but they are completely toothless and it wa s the first half of football (maybe ever) when I literally didn't get off my seat once. Crowd turned on Ramsey when he took Luongo off who along with JET up to that point were the only ones playing well. His energy would have done well further back and remove the annonymous Henry or even Toszer who'd done nothing up to that point More wayward passing from Henry then as he kicked the ball away and ref went to book him crowd chanted 'off off off'. Atmosphere was turning nasty, Ramsey did no one any favours keeping him on (or more appropriately selecting him) green did an amazing save one on one, then JET turned the game. Great ball by Toszer for 2nd but that's not enough considering who he's kept out the side. If we sort out the holding midfield spots then we've got a good side. But persisting with Henry hinders the team (coz he's ****) and because it's helped poison the atmosphere. Ramsey stubornly sticking with a handicap to to team is part of the reason he's only ever beaten a relegation candidate at home See how we do against Burnley's Boro's and Derby is the real test Warburton and Weir we'd be top Really? MK Dons or Rotheram play to their full potential against us when our team with likes of Dutch international 8m signing Fer, Chery most goals & assists in Eredivise last 3 years, Brazilian international Sandro, Austin natural goal scorer at any level. Those sides both play full potential. Who wins..? It's obvious ain't it? MK dons are a bad bad side. Afobe now at Wolves and Ali now at Spurs made that side last year. Without they are poor. If they play to their full potential and we play ok, we should still win
You should listen to yourself. I have never ever (even when Queenslander was around) seen anyone want to argue with everybody else on this forum when we win. I realise it must be huge disappointment to you that you don't have the ear of Tony when it comes to managerial appointments and tactics but do get over it.
I usually spend an extra 5 minutes wondering how Adam Virgo's head has become so unnaturally large. It extends the spectacle beyond the 15 seconds and the 10 minutes trying to locate the highlights while trying desperately to avoid the abomination of a show that it's be pitifully entrenched in.
Credit to Col At least he can enjoy a win when it comes. The illness of focusing on a player from your own club and then slating the manager IMO must be a terrible dark place to be Lucky to get to get two clean sheets Well they are factual results that have us 4 points Flip that to we were unlucky in other games ... Bet you can't We are playing well enough maybe but against what ? The idea inside minds of what QPR should be ? You have to question again what a QPR fan has become IMO

That's a terrible attitude to have.. And presume you weren't at the game so aren't really in a position to comment anyway That attitude suggests a personality type destined for average at best. Plus I wasn't arguing with anyone. I was asked my opinion and gave it on a forum for debate
Disagreed with Toszer and overall he had a bad game but did have 2 isolated useful contribution's one of which a corner (but he's taken about 15 of those this week and 14 of which hit the first man. Henry also shouldn't have played and did nothing to justify his selection. I would say we won despite Ramsey not because of him. His selection's lowered our probability of winning and but for Green we might have lost We've got some very good players for this level and they managed to secure the victory against a poor side despite our managers decisions to handicap us by picking a player who doesn't contribute
I wasn't there, but most who were seem to agree that Henry had a good game and worked his nuts off. Your obsession with him seriously undermines all your posts imo.
Well on the hour mark he got booked and huge chunks of the crowd chanted 'off, off, off'. About 5 minutes later on a rare occasion he got the ball (keeping in mind he plays a position he should get more touches of the ball than any other player but Tozser), when he popped up on the right with players in the box and time to pick a cross he embarrassingly over hit it and the crowd responded to that with plenty of sustained boos. When Fer came on for Luongo and crowd reacted badly its because they wanted Henry to come off instead Really don't think any of that suggests I'm in the minority
I was there (as I assume Peter D was too), for me both DMs played well, not outstanding but well. Toszer was the more creative, with more expansive passes two at least of which came of well, including Phillips goal. Their protection of the back four is one of the reasons we kept a clean sheet. I think Henry does what he is told to by CR (and that is why he likes him I assume), he is a real defensive midfielder (unlike Toszer, Sandro and Faulin, all of whom have a more inventive asset to their game). My criticism of yesterdays tactics, were not in the same area as everyone else...taking of Luongo and replacing with Fer actually destroyed the rhythm of the team ...we were at sea for quite a few minutes (but his sub was like for like, so why did it happen?)...We assumed that was because Fer was not doing the amount of work and harrying that Luongo did. Perhaps Luongo was tiring....but I am beginning to see Luongo as the heart beat in the team. The other criticism is using subs as a game changing tool. CR does not do that...he subs (when he does use subs tactically, which is rare, he subs like for like. For example, he doesn't take of Henry and put in Polter to change a to a 4-4-2 formation, to upset the oppo and win the match, Hughes for all his faults was good at that. He doesn't really have the gambling gene in his repetoire, a one dimensional fault, that will come back and haunt us On the other issue, I was really upset at the fans who were shouting off, off, off when Henry got his yellow card and booing Ramsey when he took Luongo off, all very counterproductive, The constant shouting for Ale, possibly prevented his usage....Chris would not want to be seen to be doing exactly what the crowd were asking for, would he!. Anyway a good win.... a good win is any win in my book
I have been as stronger criticizer of Henry as anyone. It's not been about his defensive play alone, (Although at times he's been bad there too.) but his killing of momentum going forward. (I still think it could be an issue as well but there was a marked improvement yesterday.) I feel our defensive issues have come from not having a defensively competent RB and the defence not trusting the defensive midfielders. I would say it's no coincidence that the shifting of The Chief over there, which also has allowed Clint to be added, has much to do wit our two clean sheets. Hopefully two clean sheets will help build that trust up. While as I have said already Henry deserves a reprieve after yesterdays performance, he needs to keep improving and build on it. The off, off, off chanting is very naughty though. Counterproductive and we should be backing the team during the match.
He seems to me to be just bloody-minded when it comes to Henry, which is what winds people up. We have five better players for his position imo, but Ramsey just refuses to leave him out.
IMO Henry is a decent player at Championship level and the witch hunt from sections of the fans is quite unforgivable. I don't rate Phillips in the way that others do, but I never, ever boo a player.
