Agreed, but I'm not sure Ollie is qualified to make the call. Though I am pretty sure he thinks he is.
Grief is so personal and people tackle it in very different ways. I agree that it is strange that he wished/wanted to/was willing to play on Saturday. But I am sure that decision came out of a personal 1:1 discussion. I don't want to judge such personal tragedies and methods of managing emotions.
Just to add my three pen'orth......... I thought we started with 3 CBs, but switched to a flat back four quite quickly - we certainly finished the first half with a back four. It then seemed to be a three again towards the end, with Perch playing in the centre between Bidwell and Onuoha. Anyway, we won, so who cares, eh?
Indeed. And I personally felt entertained regardless of result in a way I rarely was last season. I fear for us at Cardiff though playing in such a cavalier fashion. I really think we need a designated left-midfielder given how they're going with my old mate Hoilett, Zohore etc.
No! But as long we don't let him cut in on goal and channel him out wide all the time, he'll always give us our ball back.

I give up up and it is not important. Let's conclude that we are extremely flexible (even "chameleonic") with our formations which may surprise the opposition, providing we do not confuse ourselves
Sylla leaves it late to slay Tigers - Report Monday, 21st Aug 2017 by Clive Whittingham QPR came from one down to win two win in injury time against Hull City at Loftus Road on Saturday thanks to goals from substitutes Matt Smith and Idrissa Sylla. Why do you keep doing it? Why do you keep going every week? How can you stand it? Don’t you realise how much it’s costing? Aren’t they a bit **** these days? Haven’t all your friends got married and had kids now? Why are you still there? Injury time goals mate. https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/46336
Sylla, Perch and late Hull insanity - Knee Jerks Monday, 21st Aug 2017 20:45 by Antti Heinola Antti Heinola is back to reflect on three more points, and Holloway showing he can follow a single defeat with a win for the first time. Insanity I've rarely been to a game that was so mundane and nondescript and devoid of real excitement for the first 70 minutes, only for heart-palpitating insanity, drama and chaos to unfold for the last 20. This was a nothing game. A typical Championship game - competent but not brilliant, diverting to fans of either side, but like watching emulsion get less wet for anyone else. QPR were the better side for half an hour, and should have scored twice (Freeman for, I think, the fourth game in a row managing to miss a presentable chance after a nice pull back from the right) but Hull had the lead after some dreadful defending. After that, they looked the better side, mainly because they pressed us high to stop our new plan of playing out from the back so we're not lumping high balls to Sneezy and Grumpy up front. continued here ... https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/46347/
