Incorrect. The ball is hit at pace in to the box, and it's virtually on top of hall. What's he meant to do, dive out of the way of the line of the ball? It's completely the keepers fault, whether he calls for it or not. He shouldn't be coming for it there.
Spot on. Green stays on his line for every single cross and then when the ball goes straight to Hall he throws himself at it. Smithies in goal next game ffs.
Wouldn't argue too much with that other than I thought Faurlin was the best player on the park at times.
I'd say that went today. Clearly has no idea what his best team is and making some very odd and very unpopular decisions. Also we're so bloody boring, how could we have gone so far backwards, again!
Looking at the sky shot of Hall and then Green, I would have said Hall's reaction of anger and disgust was entirely genuine, Green in saying he did call "mine" looked phoney to me. A strong decisive goalie would have taken command of that situation. It really is very simple now. We won't make up the ground to sneak into the play offs, Green will be off at the end of the season so for Gawd's sake give Smithies the chance he's been waiting for until May. The sooner both JFH and more importantly the Board accept the reality of the situation the easier it will be for everyone to move forward.
I really hope we turn it around under JFH, but I did stick my neck out earlier in the week by saying he's not for us.
What a poor squad considering all the money we have spent in the last four years. Without Austin looks a 1st Division squad. That is why Tony should have realised why it was so important to stay in the premiership last year. Didn't Tony look pissed when the camera was on him just after the match started. Must have looked a lot more pissed off by the end.
It's getting to the point with Henry that if we can't pay him off due to FFP then maybe we could have a whip round and get someone to bump him off. I'll do it for a fiver and a bottle of beer. (or am I asking too higher price!)
Yes indeed, now we've got those new manager boost matches out of the way. Next up, our FA Cup tie at Forest, then 3 of the next 4 matches away. Hard to see where the points will be coming from if we don't start to get our act together, especially if Charlie leaves:- Sat 9 Jan 15:00 Nottm Forest v QPR FA Cup - Third Round Tue 12 Jan 19:45 Blackburn v QPR Sat 16 Jan 15:00 Rotherham v QPR Sat 23 Jan 12:30 QPR v Wolves Sat 30 Jan 15:00 Nottm Forest v QPR Sat 6 Feb 15:00 QPR v Ipswich Sat 13 Feb 12:30 QPR v Fulham
