    Hi guys,

QPR fan here, just signed up to find out a bit about Pugh and Kane, are they decent signings? Heard good things about Pugh not so much Kane.

    Good luck for the season

I think most people would have loved for Pugh to come back but not many would say the same for Kane, which I think says it all.

Pugh was ok for us, good team player with plenty of experience as senior pro.

Personally I thought Kane was mostly dog tod last season. He thinks he's better than his ability would suggest. He came to us after a loan at Oxford United and you could tell.

What does Kane bring to the party? As for Pugh, great professional, can help the kids progress, great role model brings great experience to share, creates and scores goals......oh hell!!!

Odd. I'd have taken Kane back, even more so given our dire need for FBs. Wouldnt have taken Pugh - he put in a couple of decent performances early on, 1 in particular he looked a world beater, rest of time he was poor, absent, ineffective. And now a season older. Kane will be a decent long term addition to your squad.

Pugh was great, and when he was on form he was superb, but did go missing a bit I thought.

I liked Kane and would have kept him given the chance. Pugh is excellent.

I’d have kept Kane due to his cover at FB

I though he was OK, a useful squad player

Kane certainly knows where the back of the net is at The Hawthorns.

Good signings for you guys, I would have had them both back if we could (but never going to happen with the clowns running our club).

You've heard about right.....Pugh v handy behind the striker, Kane, I mean he's alright, not that out of place in the championship but not going to pull up any trees.

Kane I thought potentially more effective on the right wing than full back. He wasn’t a very good defender and being small was easily bullied and not great in aerial situations.

I liked Pugh, good work ethic with an eye for goal. I'm with DBT in the opinion that he did go missing on occasion. But when on song dynamic and a goal threat.
