This is our club raising the white flag.See its reporting that Palace are close to signing PVA.......well done SAFC, sell one of our better players to one of our main rivals down in the basement....only Sunderland would do that.
Have we any links or anything suggesting he's near to leaving?
Trumped up fake newsWhy would Palace want him when they just splashed £12m on Schlupp to play that position? Makes no sense imo, mindless paper talk.
The only thing about this that could make me think it true would be the incompetence of the club. It's just about stupid enough for us to do, sell a first teamer to a main rival for about a half of the price we'd have to pay for the same player. Classic us!Trumped up fake news
9 million, potentially rising to 12 millionHave we any links or anything suggesting he's near to leaving?
I was being positively cynical but as you imply would be a typical Sunderland foot shootingThe only thing about this that could make me think it true would be the incompetence of the club. It's just about stupid enough for us to do, sell a first teamer to a main rival for about a half of the price we'd have to pay for the same player. Classic us!
Yeh looks like he will goOn the BBC website 10 minutes ago saying Palace hope to sign PVA this week for 9 million with an extra 3 in add one.
Old story being regurgitated or has this one got legs?
Yeah but when we sign players (like N'Dong) it's for the £13.5m fee that will be paid if all the clauses are met etc) but when we sell, it's for the initial fee according to reports so it looks worse.9 million, potentially rising to 12 million

Looks like this does have legs.
Pictures of him at training today like, would imagine if he was signing they wouldn't risk him getting injured?!
