I agree. A bit of light training doesn't mean anything

This is also one of Big Sams plays remember.

'Target one of your opponents best player and see what happens'.

Swansea and Ayew - only reason that didn't happen is because Borini wouldn't go the other way.

If you sell him and replace him with a left back capable of heading and defending in general, I see no issue. I think this lad is a terrible defender, always seems to be out of position when you concede.

I'd like to see how he compares defensively to somebody like Charlie Daniels of Bournemouth, who is also ****.

Whether he stays or goes, his head will have been turned a bit so we can expect a few poor performances until the end of the window or until he goes. He will not want to get injured.
Possibly the same effect on Kone and JD.
As far as our relegation rivals are concerned, job done.

Is it true we are getting Mickey Gray and Julio Arca back to join Lescott and possibly Keane and Jagielka.
We'll have to change our song as they 'run' out onto the pitch.
"Who do you think you are kidding mr ............"

Our back page story from today's Sunderland Echo is...

Swansea City stalwart Neil Taylor is a potential replacement for Sunderland’s Crystal Palace-bound Patrick van Aanholt.

Sunderland’s Dutch left-back is keen on a reunion with Sam Allardyce at Selhurst Park and the Black Cats are not likely to stand in his way, despite the Eagles being rivals in the fight to avoid Premier League relegation.

However, they would be loath to let their only senior left-back go without having lined up a replacement.

Taylor, 27, could be an ideal fit.

He is comfortable playing either at left-back or left wing-back, a position he has excelled in for his national side in recent years, scoring in a 3-0 win over Russia during Wales’ remarkable run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals.

The Swans now have three left-backs on their books, new manager Paul Clement having shelled out £4.5million to sign Martin Olsson from Championship club Norwich City.

Everton fans don't rate him it seems. I couldn't comment, He doesn't seem to get much game time so haven't seen much of him. I presume that's for a reason.

Could be true this as it's another of Moyes old boy network. I remember him as a decent defender

He looked more than decent when he first went to Everton, but then he broke his leg and hasn't seemed to come back from it.

If we could get him back to his earlier form, it could be a good signing.
