Braziliance on CL has posted that Methven has told a fan that improving the “matchday experience “ is just as important as getting promotion this season.

This comment just about sums it up, and explains why we are absolutely f vcked, as we suspected, with this clown in charge.

Getting promoted will improve the match day experience to the n’th degree and will get the bums back on the seats more than all the circus acts he’s promoting

I can well believe that comment from the clueless Methven. Playing in the Championship will improve the match day experience for me.

Yesterday there was only one kiosk open for refreshments, I got there 5 minutes before half-time finished so was lucky.
At one point during half-time there must have been 100 people queueing.
Why, why, why.

It's always the same.

These spivs want new customers, but even on the rare occasions when they get some, those customers are not looked after.
So they don't come back.
And even the hardcore fans are not looked after when 1,500 of them turn out for a meaningless game against kids.

SE7 want supporters to come but can't be bothered to take even basic care of them.
Clueless.

Hiring extra match day staff, even on the NMW, costs money.

Methven couldn’t giving a flying fig about “improving the match day experience “, we all (apart from Hawtrey) understand that.

Saturday was all about getting the tills ringing, and that phone call to American saying he’s increased attendances as per his heavily monetised and incentivised contract as CEO.

These things are important, just like the turnstiles for the NW not working.

It just shows how far we have slipped under various toxic regimes. We have become a mid/ lower established League one team. With little chance of getting out of this League under the current owners.
