O.K. It has been observed that foxes often try to nip at the heels of cattle. Ultimately only the fox knows why he does this - but animal behaviour experts believe they know the reason. Is the fox just trying to be annoying because that is his nature ? Has he developed a taste for small portions of beef ? Or is there another reason - if so what ?

Hmm - it makes the cattle run and the noise/vibrations frighten burrowing animals out of their burrows, making them easy prey for the foxes?
Close enough BB, it irritates the cattle and their consequent stamping on the ground forces mice and other rodents out of their holes. Over to you.

I believe Inuit, the language of Eskimo people, has quite a bit fewer than English...only three vowels I think. Spoken at the top end of Canada...
That's the one - spoken on the island of Bougainville, to the east of New Guinea. It only uses eleven letters, five vowels and six consonants - so either they don't say very much or use their hands a lot.
