OK. Not Jamie Hand, then. Andy Goram? No - but like Jamie, this guy was born in England.

Yes - back to youOK. Not Jamie Hand, then. Andy Goram?
Thanks, BB.Yes - back to you
No, both three digit numbers a lot higher than that. There are no consecutive digits of the same value for either player. One of your digits is one of the two necessary to give the totals for both players. Was it 36 Porter and 63 Gibbs? hard to read on an old programme scan
You're in the right region. Only use two digits to give me both appearance totals. They were different, no digit the same as before or after.i think they were both 3?0 (Three hundred and somthing) Just the scan is very hard to read
)No. Because that would make one 383 and one 838.Presuming that 0 qualifies as a digit in its own right. Then two three digit numbers which begin and end with a 3 - presumably with only one other digit between them (the same one in both cases) - I'll say 383 for both figures (question mark)

My bad, cologne, misread you. But I said earlier they were not the same.No. Because that would make one 383 and one 838.
3 is one of the digits.![]()

No I'm wrongAm I right in presuming that both numbers begin with a 3 and end with a 3 (otherwise there would be more than 2 digits)
Could it be 343 for Gibbs and 434 for Porter. That’s it exactly! No I'm wrongCould it be 343 for Gibbs and 434 for Porter.
Over to you, cologne.
Wow. Was it this from Port Vale in 2022?Cheers Andy. Why was a victory over Sutton United so significant for this club - what record was broken and by which club.

Vale beat Sutton United 2-0 on March 26th 2022 to complete the record, which will stand until any complete newbies come up from the National League (which seldom happens these days with so many ex league clubs down there). Port Vale had previously gained this record in the 90s and subsequently lost it. Lemmy Kilminster (front man with Hawkwind and Motorhead) was born locally (in Burslem) and has a statue dedicated to him outside Vale Park. I'm not sure if any other clubs come close to this. Take it away. That's superb, cologne. All yours AndyVale beat Sutton United 2-0 on March 26th 2022 to complete the record, which will stand until any complete newbies come up from the National League (which seldom happens these days with so many ex league clubs down there).
