    That's it Cologne. I thought the barleycorn was an obsolete measurement, like a perch or pole, until recently.

    It was used as a threat to Somali pirates that if they were caught they would be forced to listen to Britney Spears every day in their cell <doh>

    To quote a naval office at the time - "Her songs were chosen by the security team because they thought the pirates would hate them most. These guys can't stand western culture or music, making Britney's hits perfect. As soon as the pirates get a blast of Britney, they move on as quickly as they can." Apparently it worked too...
