    Chail Cricket Ground is 200 miles away and was established in 1893. I’m assuming Sir Garfield is banned from playing there.

    No, but it does start with Ch - and rhymes with another word for beer.

    Thanks, bb.

    Of whom did we sing:

    "Walking along, smoking a bong, walking in a —————- wonderland"?

    No, but played with Tommy in (probably) a couple of hundred games.

    I was about to give this as a clue:

    <doh>

    It was Steve Palmer, yes. All because he’d been to university! <laugh>
    No stereotypes there, then. Captain of Cambridge University ‘Blues’, he played in three varsity football matches and one varsity cricket match, the captain on that occasion was his friend, Michael Atherton.

    Over to you, bb. <ok>

    Hmm - needs a bit of a nudge. Think of a river - not the Seine but a really little river.

    No - that's in the Manche department. The one I'm looking for is in Seine-Maritime - it's famously short.

    It is the Veules, the shortest river in France, I believe. There is a pathway that runs alongside it from the sea to the village of Veules-les-Roses - known as the Champs Elysees - am not sure if it's the same length as its namesake though.

    Over to you.

    We have red, yellow and green departments at present and maybe we will not be able to move out of green departments. Anything like that in the UK?
