Cheers andy... In the group stages of a 2008 International Cup series with strictly enforced nationality eligibility rules, Britain rather embarrassingly lost 65-18 to Nauru. Which sport were they playing?
Bugger - never even had time to make a coffee... Yes - the AFL International Cup. It's been held every three years since inception in 2002 - hosted by Australia each time. Only open to amateur players, which means Australia can't enter, current champions are Papua New Guinea who have won three of the last four titles. Over to you...
Thanks, bb. Who was Watford manager for our lowest league finish which led us and Crystal Palace to need re-election to the Football League?
Another WFC question. In which season did Watford have two players both score 20 goals or more for the first time and who were they?
A quickie - which former Watford player worked as an airline clerk before becoming a professional footballer?
It certainly was - he worked for BEA for a while before thankfully deciding upon a career change. Over to you...
My goodness. That was a total guess based on the story that he worked as a baggage handler at Heathrow after he gave up football. Okay. What very common article in the UK is measured in barleycorns?
I think it's shoe sizes. Starting with size 12 which would be 12 inches it is then measured back in barleycorns ( a measurement of a third of an inch) before coming to size 11 and so on.
