See I’m not arsed about Blu-Ray as I have Sky Q anyway and that’s 4KHDR, no need for discs.

With the game passes on digital only it’s often cheaper to buy games online anyway, I paid £7 for NBA 2K this year on a deal, £11 for F1.

The big games I’ll buy on release day anyway so no saving to be had on disc anyway. It being white is a pain in the arse it will need to be hidden somehow.

Price of 4K TVs now is crazy, I get a new TV most years in November in Black Friday deals, paid £800 last year for a TV that even now is £1,300, I’ll be looking for an 8K one this year even though there’s no content, purely for these new games consoles.

I'm not particularly arsed about blu ray either nearly everything we watch is on a streaming service, but we might want to use it from time to time especially for the kids when the year of free Disney is up, and like I say there will be some bargains on physical games too.

Yeah it's no looker is it I'm not sure what they were thinking with that, I'm not getting one at launch so maybe there'll be a few options when I do get one. The controller looks cool but the console nah

Aye, I don’t think either of them look great but with the Xbox X you can kind of see where they were going, it’s like a ****ing oyster shell or some bollocks.

I know folk will say ‘what it does that counts’ but your TV and devices for me are very much part of your furniture. The PS4 and Xbox one were both nice and simple.

My son has one ordered from Game and has been told it will be delivered on its release day although he is not overly confident of that happening. Very have admitted they have taken money knowing they cannot deliver. They have e-mailed some customers saying you will not be getting it when you thought you were. Apart from that disappointment have they paid customers monies back? Have they f*ck. C*nts.

The Sony CEO has now come out and said ‘there’ll be plenty on release day’ and no need to pre-order.

He’s said this after 3 days of absolute mayhem and several million worldwide meltdowns.

I like his style <laugh>

Thats a bold statement. Normally they hold back to ensure people are desperate which normally bumps the price up just a tad.

I'm a PC gamer with a 3800x 32GB Ram looking to upgrade my 1070 to a 3080, I've had all the PS consoles but never really been a fan of consoles, I prefer PC's especially these days when the consoles are more or less PC's.

I downloaded that fall guys for the granson, total wipeout lol.
Had a few goes, would be a laugh if you could play with mates.
Downloaded pubg a week or so ago, played it last night, it'll probably get wiped.

Outrageous specs on those new NVidia cards mind. And I am totally jealous of your gaming rig an all. Agree about PC's over consoles but I've always used a PC so am a mouse and keyboard type of camel, can't get used to a control pad in the slightest.

I might be mistaken bud, but I think it is possible to invite your mates into a game of Fall Guys - I've managed with at least one other friend.

Agree we have all three in the house - PS4, Xbox and gaming PC. I love the prices for PC games on such sites like Steam. I purchased Witcher (GotY edition) for £26 that game is an amazing adventure. Also just recently brought a game called Green Hell where it's a survival type on a tropical island, bloody jumpy!!!!

Green Hell is canny, got early access last year for it, paid about £12 at the time then had to wait as more parts of the game were relaesed. Stay awake for too long you start to go insane, start hallucinating and everything, proper bad trippy. Can't knock Steam like, had a few canny deals.

Fall Guys is ace. I play it in a group of three.

Got Tony Hawk's today. Amazing how muscle memory works on the controls as it all just came back to me

Oh yes. There isn't actually an adequate TV developed yet. Adequate monitors run into their thousands. We're waiting on a affordable screen to it justice. But still, while we're waiting may as get the top spec consoles as any TV will work in the meantime.
