Nobody mentioned a half empty stadium. Other clubs manage mass walkouts or no shows over much smaller issues, if we can't do this for such a huge issue then we are ****ing tinpot.

I remember Everton fans mocking us for the tiny protests about NTHT when they were apopletic about changing their badge. And they're right.

I mentioned it because IMHO that's what you'd get. There are still quite a few people who are quite happy with the prospect of PL football and a cheaper seat this season thank you very much I'm all right jack and he can call us what he likes if we get to watch Liverpool who I really support any way.

They've got better owners than us who listen. We've had stadium protests - ****loads of them - that have achieved a grand total of **** all. They didn't care about 19:04, they didn't care about the red cards, why the **** do people think they'll suddenly care now?

But that's not what people are thinking when talking about the tv impact.

Sky and BT (and/or whoever it is these days) are paying 20 Premier League clubs a ****load of money to broadcast their games.

These games are then sold to us private consumers, pubs around the country and broadcasters around the world.

They sell the Premier League as the best in the world. They don't want broadcast a sparsely populated stadium from the best in the world league.

Hence questions would be asked if that happened. Pressure would be applied. And it just might help resolve this Allam-orientated situation.

It all comes down to money. And despite all of Allams riches, he's small fry compared to the TV companies.

As you said, it doesn't really affect them fiscally if the stadium is half full. So ask yourself why they're emailing and ringing round to get people to renew their pass.

They're (Sky) still broadcasting the game though aren't they, the game is the product. Whether it is played out in an empty stadium or not I really don't think Sky would give a toss.

The atmosphere is so sterile at the KCOM you'd be hard pressed to notice a difference between a full stadium or an empty one.

Do you attend away games? The money goes to the same place.

If people attend games and actively protest I can't see how anyone could say they support the Allams.

A boycott requires organisation, something we are nowhere near achieving at the moment as this thread shows. We also have to consider whether its the best form of protest for the first match of the season, against the League Champions and on TV.

It is likely that Ehab will be attending. It would be extremely bad manners for the owners not to greet the Premier League Champions and a loss of face if they continue to hid from Hull City fans. For me, whilst understanding the motives of the people who'll never pay another penny whilst they are in charge, I think we need to be in the ground.

The red card protest worked because it was visible. As suggested 20 minutes 10 seconds is a good time for it as its during the match and would be difficult to avoid seeing on the TV. We shouldn't lose sight of the fact that people have been evicted from their seats and concessions have been scrapped.

Leicester fans may join in. They may have a reason to if they don't get any concessionary prices.

I find we are at our best when we have our tongue in our cheek. Yes I'm angry, but anger doesn't get you very far. The "ask Ehab" Twitter account was funny and effective. Songs in the ground could be just as effective. If nothing else they'll bring a smile to the faces of many.

I haven't bought anything from Hull City apart from my seat since the name change. We should look at organising a boycott of programmes, merchandise and food and drink from the concessions. Finally we should look at our own merchandise to sell. The badges and scarves for CTWD were successful. The club isn't interested in promoting our name but that's no reason why we shouldn't.

I have been to hundreds of City games and never supported any owners, call me odd but I always go to support the team.
