After reading a post one on here I've checked minutes played verses goals for our strikers: It's official Super Nick is our most prolific goal scorer;

Taking today's game at 90 mins;

Aluko's played a total of 2060 mins of competative football - Goals / min ratio = 257.5
Simmo's played a total of 2037 mins of competative fottball - Goals / min ratio = 339.5
Super Nick's played a total of 875 mins of competative football - Goals / min ratio = 218.75

There's the facts fella's make of it what you will..

Wow - do you happen to know the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

It is obvious that some Leicester fans are deeply in love with our German striker (come on AKCJ - when you proposing marriage to him, and that is a joke in the same way as you've turned your "deeply insightful contribution" into a joke), and then for a Leicester fan to have the brass neck to call one of our fans for starting a thread on the Leicester board - when it seems like half the postings on this board are made by Leicester fans.

Hopefully young Nick can get a run in the side and the service to score the goals we need to achieve the points to gain promotion (then see how many Hull fans are banned from their board for giving back to them what they have given us)

Won't get banned by me mostyn - and I'm actually pleased for the lad - have posted before that he would need a run of games to get acclimatised before he could be properly 'judged'- my yardstick for foreign signings is always Diego Forlan at Man United - in my view the fans lost patience way before the guy had been given adequate opportunity -a fabulous player for whom it just didn't work out - I found it telling how complimentary Sir Alex was about him at the time he was leaving - he usually remains tight lipped about players leaving e.g Ince, Keane, Beckham, Stam.

Football is not just about scoring goals Peterborough has same goals for home and away as us but we are second they are twenty second

Very good point ray - if you notice, teams that are getting hammered often manage to pick-up a consolation goal or two (even 3 if you are Newcastle at Arsenal) ... usually because the team romping switches off to a degree that they would not do if the game was still tight ... Cardiff have set the bar this season by winning games by the odd goal .... came to our place (pre-Chris Wood admittedy) had 3 attempts on goal, scored one - by contrast we had something like 16 got nowt ...

Can we rename this thread The Ark of the Covenant? Because if you gaze upon what's inside, your face agonizingly melts.

it may all be academic. forecast is for freezing temperatures all week, snow on Friday and Saturday. London Road doesn't have under soil heating. I think there is a good chance of losing this one to the weather.

This might be a blessing in disguise with the goalkeeping, striking and now wing back problems.

3 games, 6 goals.

A goal every 35 minutes. He played the full 90 in one and then was subbed after 61 in two others.

90 + 122 = ?

Lets see how Chris Wood does against a much better defence that the 3 he has faced so far for you guys. Fridays game with Middlesboro could well be a classic chess type of game game. ? Millwall have shown how to stop Lesta playing, others may follow suit. Knoeckeart is still the key player for the Foxes from what ive seen of you. :wink:

Has anyone got a video of the big man's goal from last night? If its as good as i'm told then i'd like to see it. Have your highlights been uploaded to your version of FoxesPlayer? as far as I'm aware a subscription to any of the 'Players' means you can access them all.

ITV.1 highlights show tonight @ 10.50pm They have exclusive first showing of all FAC replay action.

From how it was described on the radio last night you wont see many better goals scored anywhere. The big German unleashed a Howitzer Bomb. BIG BANG.... ..GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL.

I read previously somewhere Roy Keane and maybe a clique of players had it in for Forlan and made it hard for him to stay at the club, I thought he was a good player myself even before he went on to better things

Just seen Prozzy's goal on tigerplayer and its absolute class. If he's displaying that kind of confidence he has to start against Peterborough. Better strike than Ibrahimavich for my money too
