Hi all. I have returned after an extended (roughly 3 months) not606 hiatus (not that you've probably missed me all that much). My housemate is a Huddersfield fan, so naturally he was rooting for Forest last night, and I of course was rooting for Fulham. Sounded like a cracking game. Really impressed with Forest so far. Mancienne is a fantastic signing in my humble opinion.
Sorry, am I missing something here. A three month hiatus and you come back to post about Forest and Fulham. No mention of the Canaries? Strange.
Is a bit I suppose. Just felt a bit disillusioned with the forum, so gave it a wide berth for a while. Only just started lurking on here again this week, and decided to post again today. Didn't really have much to add to what I had been reading over the past week or so.
The arguing has stopped and everyone seems to be agreeing! It's getting a bit boring, us winning all the time!
Probably doesn't warrant a new thread, so I'll stick this here for now. Rumour is that Wes is having a scan on his ankle and is a doubt for the Brum game. Hopefully it's not too bad.
Sounds like Wes could be 50-50 to start, but there are other options as replacements or other formations which could be used.
With such a strong squad getting injured must be awful as you don't know when you'll play again. For me only Ruddy Olsson and turner are guaranteed a start when fit.
Eadie he's been awesome but if Vadis or Howson came in and played as well or better would be hard to drop them. Especially as Tettey has a history of coming back slowly from injury. Please don't think I'm criticising him because he's been awesome but he's not head and shoulders better than the alternative like the three I brought up.
Sorry we're heading off topic now but if Wes is out, we could see McGrandles given a chance off the bench too.
It's very unfortunate, but gives another player a chance. Wes could well find getting back into the starting 11 tricky!!!
McGrandson looks like he'll feature vs Leicester in tonight's under21s match, so most unlikely to feature tomorrow for the first team as well. Good to see Hooper and Howson in line for some match fitness practice, too http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...d_gary_hooper_on_the_comeback_trail_1_3776337
It's possible that City could go for a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2 to change things up, but if so, Id' like to see Odjidja-Ofoe alongside Tettey in the 4-4-2 or as the ACM in a 4-3-3. We still have a lot to come. I like Jerome's comments here: http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...a_new_lease_of_life_at_norwich_city_1_3776338 Sounds like the whole squad is buzzing.
I know we are in a lower league than last year but the difference now both within the squad and dare I say on this board is incredible. Without wishing to jump the gun, I wonder what Leroy is thinking now at QPR. There is every chance that Koo Pee Arr are coming back down and that we could be going the other way and that would make his departure look pretty stupid.
I like Leroy, but I have a hunch Odjidja-Ofoe could be even better, but that needn't prevent Fer from thinking "oh b*gger!" Thurnby!
I'm hoping that Vadis get's a good outing tonight in what looks to be a whole new team from the Brum game!
