That’s fair then, obviously there’s ongoing stuff from ages ago that people bring up but my point was specifically when an discussion goes from footie straight to a dig because they disagree rather than arguing about the point madeI didn’t say that to him because I disagreed about football. I said it because he’s a smarmy **** who has personal little digs all the time then cries when he gets some pushback.
I think we could be more physical but I don’t think we are weak.
Coyle is always putting himself about, Seri uses his low centre of gravity well for a more technical player, Delap was an aggressive player who is missed, Sharp wouldn’t shirk a challenge and despite having a glass toe - Connolly does get stuck in.
Even Jaden impressed me in the Millwall game when he put that foot in after coming back from injury.
I think the physical aspect isn’t our strong point, but we aren’t getting pushed around often either

I've been thinking about this for a while, more specifically relating to our centre halves. I know it isn't their primary job but for as long as I've been watching City we'd always had defenders who were a threat from corners, either scoring themselves or causing havoc to allow someone else to. Turner, Cort Delaney, Davies to name a few. If we get a set piece these days we might as well not bother and just let the opposition have it back. Its not really an LR issue either, we haven't been a threat at set pieces since Bruce tbh
Mate I have no idea about what was said and the context behind it, you two obviously have history and I don’t want to be involvedSo arguing the football point that we won't finish above 14th is overly and unfoundedly negative, going to 'no one will miss you when you're dead' is fair enough is it?
Jog along.

Kin’ell is he still crying about it?
Listening to the latest 1904 podcast and I have calmed down after Saturday. It's all about money and the figures the top three are playing with are ridiculous. I'll be happy if we finish 9th or above.
I had butter bollocks once.
unfortunately physics kicks in as much as they might push or try to win a 50/50 if the other guy is heavier / stronger/ taller even he’ll win more than you . People also forget ball players try to come away with the ball often before they’ve won it , so it’s not a block as a priority and IMO they tend to be softer in the attempt to keep the ball under control should they win it . Tufan is a case where he uses his upper body really well but as on Saturday he’s very half hearted in one on one foot challenges - some others do it too . Doesn’t help !Coyle is the one that stands out.
Naming Seri, Sharp and Connolly as examples sort of proves the point!!
And "getting stuck in" is only one aspect of the underlying issue that was being flagged.
Sounds lovely...
How long did it take to scrub em clean?
Least it wasn't 50/50 white and brown.Didn't bother bud, just slapped a couple of slices of Hovis either side of them. I know what you're all thinking... Disgusting... Well I didn't have any Warburtons in.
Two slices of thick toasties.Least it wasn't 50/50 white and brown.
Back to LR, I can't remember a City team that is so weak in the air ? Can someone please confirm
1) The last time City scored a header from open play ? ie a cross coming in to the box & someone getting their head on the end of it like McTominay did for Man U yesterday ?
2) The last time City scored with a header direct from a set piece (ie corner, free kick) ?
We seem to have no strikers that can actually head a ball , the last one was Oscar (& even then City rarely put quality balls in the box for him)
Every week I see headed goals on MOTD & EFL Highlights, so why aren't City scoring from headers ?
1) Delap?
