Perhaps it's worth saying, of course you're allowed to be negative, but you don't have to. There are positives and negatives in every team, in a season which is going pretty well, after a fantastic late win, I find it hard to understand why so many want to rush in with the negatives. Yes, you can, but why do you want to?
Be careful, don't you know you can't have an opinion that differs to the sanctimonious and self righteous OLM on a public forum designed to discuss football and different views. Tut tut tut
Is it negatives or is it discussing ways we could improve and maybe not have to scramble a late win? We have a fantastic squad and we are doing well....but that doesn't mean we couldn't be doing better with the tools at our disposal
Anyone can post anything they like and anyone else can post a differing opinion, posting insults just makes you look a bit dim.
Because we haven't actually played well since Cardiff, and that was long overdue, and have (thankfully) been scraping wins. Long may wins continue but it would be nice to see good performances and us getting the best out of this talent.
Man City really don't go 1-0 up and then start making negative change after negative change resulting in the other team dominating the second half and having to rely on John Stones to pop up and save their win in injury time.
Yeah we did. Some people would say a player missed an easy chance to seal the win but I'm not that negative. Not sure the substitutions made and being dominated from half time onwards was the reason we broke free and hit the post either. Its good to be winning games whilst not playing well, I'm not denying that. My issue is with people who think all is rosey (pardon the pun) when it really isn't. We look awful at times and have done for a while now. Our bench doesn't strengthen us or allow us to sit back and control a game, we look vulnerable when he starts making changes and that is a concern too.
The possession game has suffered in Seri's absence, and even more so if Morton goes off as well - but we've conceded 3 in 5 and learned to win ugly of late, Swansea excepted.
Agreed. Midfield balance is killing us I feel. Slater doesn’t offer anything outstanding out of possession and is very limited in it. Tufan clearly not trusted, Morton is very good in possession, not great out of it. Seri is the most balanced.
An overly physical DM who can pass well would cost serious money in this league because they'd be such an asset. We've clearly gone towards a slightly less physical but technical game, knowing that Seri can pass well but also put his body in the way if need be. It helps that we've got two CBs who on the whole read the game well.
