We’re after 3 in Jan. which was already out there. Nothing else that interesting. Stelling asked him how he tempted seri to hull, and liam had the grace not to correct him.

The usual high level of journalism on show then.... Who was doing the interview?

Just imagine what a 'proper manager' could do with this squad....

We weren't good against Watford.
We were even worse against QPR.
We were utter ****e for most of the game against Middlesboro ... but somehow managed to nick the win (not the sign of a good side, just good fortune).

However, we were excellent, really excellent, against Cardiff (and thankfully others are dropping points, keeping us in and around top 6).

Now let's see if he can maintain those standards from the Cardiff game. I hope he can.

OR - We had chances to win the Watford game (particularly the penalty)
We were poor at QPR
We showed resilience against Middlesbrough and got the win. Listening to Carrick after that game was like listening to Rosie after the Watford game. That's the Championship for you - you don't always get what you deserve.

Agree totally with the rest of your post

We weren't even poor at QPR. The highlights package for that game is just chance after chance for us, punctuated by two QPR goals.
