Stats since Pritchard has been with us.

Pritchard has played 104 games, scored 9 goals and assisted 21 and the while being on set plays when he's featured.

Dan Neil playing deeper has played 114, scored 9 and assisted 14 without being on any set plays.

And I'm told Pritchard is our best attacking player behind Clarke lol this is why he didn't get a contract offer in the summer.

For those with a grudge against the club, they know who they are, Pritchard will fall into the same category as 'wronged heroes' such as Batth, Neil and Mowbray. He'll be the poor victim who demanded a better contract and was cruelly turned down by the Machiavellian Mr Speakman. In reality he'll become the next Denver Hume or Chris Maguire who used Sunderland to boost their ego and profile but found the grass wasn't greener ...

... it was actually just covered in dogshyte and they'll never wipe it off their boots again. .

Of course it's different. He was asking a question and you're using it to try to make yourself feel superior. Your MO all over.

How would you know how often I post? Haven't you had me on ignore for years? Since you took the huff after getting a bit of comeback after you'd been angry enough to get yourself a ban for calling me names?

I thought Johnson was my hero? Make your mind up.

If you stopped posting tonight there'd be a lot less conflict on here.

Mister Ticket. First name Workie.

Because I only have one person on ignore and the forum says when you post <laugh>

If I stopped posting even those I argue with would miss me, it's banter and most appreciate it..

I've argued with most people but we still managed to get along ...

... you're just a tedious bore who contributes fck all.

Even people I argue with like my posts, no one likes your's ... think about it.

Trawling for likes is the giveaway.......

I am only sticking up for him as I believe the information I was told.

Do you not find it out that KS come out and said he was integral, an important player for us and he is happy.

Then a day later he has refused to play etc.

Massive shame for me but yeah, I do side with the player in this instance due to what I have been told. If I knew nothing different, the way it's unfolded absolutely makes it look like the player has down tools and stealing a wage.

He will be away now, get a 2 year deal elsewhere. Hope the club has his wages and get some quality in.
Was your source the player/representative/ a close connection?

He **** on every one of us refusing to play for our club.

It is utterly indefensible.

He has the stamina of a pigeon and has never been a starter. His corners and dead balls hit the first man 90% of time.

Some great vision and a good dig in him for sure and when he is good he does have a bit of magic, but it’s never been close to consistent.

He can **** clean off. That’s my last word on it.
Well said

the WMS whoppers are coming up with the "I'll reserve judgement until we hear both sides" which is just a veiled barb at the club because we know Pritchard isn't about to release a statement. So, in the absence of a tell-all exclusive in The Sun, they'lll refuse to back the club over this. It's a perfect storm

Refusing to play is a big thing. If he moves we'll hear from him sooner rather than later you would think.

I have watched Pritch like everyone else. I think he is a very good number 10, but I think he could be even better. In open play he can be devastating, but his set pieces are very hit and miss. I honestly look at players who often hit the first man and think if you want to solve that it is about practice. I wonder how all in he is personally, and I say that because I dont really see a player enjoying himself. Sometimes players can show real enjoyment on the pitch and he doesnt for me. I remember him as a young lad at Spurs and by all accounts he was outstanding naturally. When he broke through at Norwich he was the heartbeat. I hope he doesnt look back on his career and think he should have made more of it. Vision, touch, passing, aggression is all there, but in my opinion he could find another 10% and be in the premier league. I suspect his next moves will be downwards, not upwards, which shouldnt be the case really.

Oh aye, he'll open his trap once he's no longer employed by the club.

The bloke has a massive ego for a player who's career peak was an assist in the L1 play off final. Top player, arse of a bloke

I'm sure we'll get both sides eventually.

Why is there even a "both sides" narrative? Player employed by club refuses to play for club and honour contract. Everything else is background noise.

I work in the world of contracting. I currently have a contract to 31st March. IF my current client opts not to extend my deal I will work as normal until 31st then head on my merry way. I wouldn't down tools and have a hissy fit.

It's truly incredible that a few people can side with a player on massive wages, refusing to play our our club ...

... based entirely on tittle tattle and absolutely nothing else.

At the same time they argue against a club statement that they may have to defend at a tribunal or even in court.

Absolutely pathetically biased against a club they claim to support.

Aye, but when the tittle tattle paints the club in a negative light it's taken (by some) as the Gospel. So many folk out there are desperate to believe any negative stories that come out about the club.
Even one of the better pods this weekend said they'd "never forgive the club for what they did with the BCB" even though there are no hard facts out there about what happened.

Football contracts aren't like normal contracts. They're exactly as watertight or as porous as one side or the other needs it to be depending on the circumstance.

Enough has happened over the last couple of months to cast doubt on the club's role in this. If it had happened last summer I'd have been telling him to piss off as well.

What has happened thats made you doubt it? The stuff thats gone wrong is off the field stuff away from the 1st team squad

Take the stuff for the newcastle game out of it i cant think of anything major thats happened recently n thats got nothing to do with speakman's remit

What has happened over the last couple of months to cast doubt about the club renewing/not renewing Pritchard's contract?

And was Huddersfield a healthy club? It was a basket case at the time.

I know it's easier to think it's all Pritchard, because some can't cope with the idea the club are anything less than perfect (look at the nothing to see here reaction to the BCB fiasco), but players generally don't go on strike when the relationship with the club is good. It's not like Man City have come in for him is it.
He still has a contract and should honour it right up till the day it expires, he signed up to the terms and conditions till the date it expires, he was happy to commit to those terms and conditions and should be ashamed of himself for not seeing the contract through regardless of the club offering him a new contract. He’s been a good servant but he’s tarnished his time here and can f##k off for me. He could have seen his contract out and returned to a huge welcome, now he will be known as no better than Rodwell

Sacking Mowbray without any evidence they had a succession plan in mind.

Which is why we ended up with Beale, who was clearly the cheapest option and only seems to have opened his mouth to change feet, spending the first month playing exactly the same way that got his predecessor sacked.

Doing their best to burn out Bellingham. If it's because he has to play, then it's even worse.

And now we have the Pritchard situation.

It just feels like a series of poor decisions and situations created by them all of a sudden, so what's changed.

That's before we get to the off field stuff.
