So Liverpool let in 6 goals....wonder how many they would have let in if Lovren played. :)

I feel like reporting Liverpool to the RSPCF (Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Footballers) for putting Rickie on when they were 5 down. Don't worry, Rickie....you'll be leaving this shambles soon. Was only going to be down after leaving Saints.

He did get the assist for Gerrards goal though and Stevie acknowledged him for it.

They want to use him as a bargaining tool to get Benteke off of Villa, did I say tool?

I suspect Sterling's problem is a little bit due to his youth and that he is a Londoner [though born in Jamaica] who would rather be based back where he grew up. He could be a very rich young man who just misses his Mum.

I think his problem is he was told that he was 'one of the best young players in Europe' and he's realised that he's at a club that's going backwards, with a fool as a managet.

Sky pundits are saying Sterlings problem is his agents fault.
I think some youngsters need a touch of humility. He's still learning and isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread. Liverpool could have been the right club for him, and might be yet, if they got a decent manager in (not Koeman). Wenger or Poch would have been a better manager for him. He needs to be very careful that he doesn't become another bright young player who ends up being dragged down by wrong decisions in his public and private life. Still not every young player can be lucky enough to be developed by Saints :)

Rodgers - "If the owners want me to go, I will go".

Well yes Brendan, that tends to be how it works! How is he making that sound like he'd be doing them a favour!?

For what it's worth I think they should keep him, sell Sterling n give Brenda the money to invest <ok>

If the bit at the bottom is a strict interpretation of how the rules of the competition work, then the way Saints get into the competition is that Arsenal have to win the FA Cup, which puts Liverpool from the 3rd qualifying stage straight into the group stage, with Saints taking their place.

We don't straight get into the competition if Arsenal win as I thought. There are wheels within wheels, those cunning UEFA devils.
