Shame Hull are going down. But pleased for Gutierrez.

West Ham will be in the Europa League because of that fair play crap then.

edit: oh that was quick.

Round of applause for Leicester's end-of-season heroics. At the end of March, they were on 19 points through 29 games, with a -21 goal differential. Finish the season in 14th, securing 41 points on the year with their GD back to single digits. Pretty remarkable.

I'm loving the wet spam/fat Sam thing:

Wet Spam: "we've decided not to renew Sam's contract"

Fat Sam: "I told them I'm not signing a new contract"

Despite his record, I really hope that Sam ends up on the George Graham pile of disused managers. He's a negative piece of work.

The only downside is that he will appear a s a pundit every week on our screens and he will get a job again!

He has his uses like stabilizing a club near the brink (ie Newcastle need someone like him right now) but he's negative in just about everything he does and his brand of stability certainly doesn't come cheap. I would despair if we ever signed him on at saints.

Also that really was a race to get their version of the story to the media wasn't it. <laugh>
