Hmm, does Mourinho deserve manager of the year? Sure, he led Chelsea to the PL, but he was expected to at the start of the season, so hardly a huge overachievment is it?

Far more deserving candidates in my opinion.

Funny/serious article here using Opta stats to discover the most inept team in the league

http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/may/19/premier-league-clubs-ineptitude-index

If you can't be bothered to read it all this is the final table:

Final table
QPR: 61.5
Burnley: 54
Everton: 49
Leicester: 42
Manchester United: 41.5
Liverpool: 41.5
Crystal Palace: 41
Newcastle: 39
Aston Villa: 37
West Brom: 36
Hull: 32
Sunderland: 31
Tottenham: 30
Stoke City: 26
West Ham: 25
Manchester City: 17
Arsenal: 16.5
Southampton: 16
Swansea: 14
Chelsea: 13.5

We would have won (i.e. been bottom) if Tadic hadn't got booked for taking his shirt off.

He said he expects everyone back after the summer....there was no news on Clyne and Morgan remains under contract. Not sure what he meant by that...perhaps we are planning to say no again ?? More likely is that he hopes everyone will be back, but knows as well as everyone else that things change. He does expect it to be quieter this summer....could hardly be busier could it? He didn't ask Fonte to speak to Morgan and Clyne....says he did just because he is the Captain.

Yellow card was well worth it though!

Lot of articles (reported on Newsnow) picking up on Koeman's comment about it being hard for us to improve. Not quite how he meant it...he said that our first improvement was from 15th to 8th, then this season we improved from 8th to 7th (possibly 5/6th)...he then went on to say that the next step up is harder, not impossible, but harder. Ron says it how he sees it, but doesn't mean he is pessimistic...just realistic.

When I was listening to him about that point, I knew the media would leap all over it. We know what he means.

He is being realistic and he's right as well. It's highly likely that this season is as good as it will ever get for us bar winning a trophy. It's why I'd always prioritise the cups over league position. Unfortunate but that's the way modern football is.

I hope Hull get an early goal tomorrow, will really spice things up and put the panic into the geordies.
