Just found out that I'm interviewing Alan Pardew on Friday, for the Sunday nationals.![]()

I agree with Jason Roberts - I don't often do that
Me too, deeply. Been wondering the last few days where Carragher (especially), Barnes etc. get off. What on earth makes them believe they get a say in someone else's career?? And Carragher telling Sterling to shut his mouth, and dare not to go against the demands of Liverpool FC! I just wish Sterling would say as much back to him. Be consistent - say the same when it's the players going the other way. Instead, these ex-top four pundits who bestow unofficial ex-club spokesman status on themselves, and freely comment every week on which players should be moving on to which top four club. You're meant to be Sky or BBC pundits - what happened to impartiality? (These media outlets can obey it OK during the election run-up.) What responsibility do they take when said young players are languishing in these clubs' reserves?
I think Sterling is going to say it back to Liverpool with his actions.
The most laughable thin here is the fact they took him from QPR. Liverpool will bleat that they paid 500k for him, well guess what Whingepool ... the wheels are turning and now someone is going to pay you for his loyalty. Tough. Move on. Get over it. Rather than moan at the player, sort your club out and get it back to where it once was - the finest in the UK and Europe. It is not any more.
How can Mourinho say that sending off someone for deliberately kicking a ball at someone's head was bizarre? I suspect Koeman would have given him a clip round the ear as he came off to add to his troubles.
It doesn't mean a great deal, but if Sunderland can avoid defeat tonight, other than them being safe, Arsenal won't be able to finish 2nd. Maybe Man City won't be so determined to win on Sunday. I doubt it, but trying to take any advantage we can.
Absolutely Al. Means a bit I feel.
How the heck it's nil nil...
