Oh **** off Neville. Burnley did not deserve anything. Based on the first half alone yes, but not over the whole game.

Exactly what I said to the wife. The second half was like a training session we were that much better than them.

Anyone got a link or clip of Long getting smacked in the head?

*fell asleep in MOTD* missed Saints

I know that the United/Liverpool game means that one rival or both drop points, but I don't want either of them to get any points. Can that be arranged? A draw is best I suppose, but 2nd choice would be a United win as the gap between us and Liverpool won't increase. However, that reduces our chance of 4th. My head hurts<wah>

The one result we do not want is a United win. A draw would be the best, but we'll be 4 points off 4th with a draw or a Liverpool win so one of those results will be fine.

Utd 4-0 with a couple of reds for the scousers would be perfect. Our fight is with Spurs & Pool, Utd have fluked themselves into a healthy position, I don't see them chucking that away now. But, it has been a strange season.

Not for me. I haven't given up on 4th.

Haven't totally given up because I don't rate United...it's a shame that we let them pull away, not by losing to top sides, but by dropping points we shouldn't. Sickener. That is a powerful lesson learnt...the top sides manage to grind out results. However, I think that it will be difficult. Finishing 5th above Liverpool and Spurs will be psychologically powerful...just missing out will be annoying, but finishing 5th would be terrific for us.

How amazing is it that in March it looks like 7th is the lowest we can finish...a great season.

I have Liverpool to win, but a draw is ideal. United play City and Chelsea coming up and I can see that being two draws, so with a draw today they get three points from three games putting them six ahead and is having Everton and Hull. Down to us then.

A huge fight involving both managers and most of the players. 5 or 6 red cards and a 10 point deduction for both teams would suit me

The genius in this is that it is not impossible. I mean it's a big derby, a key game and with Lallana and Lovren playing, who wouldn't want to throw a few punches?

Kane picking up an injury would likely see us finish above Spurs. Liverhampton and Man Utd are getting goals from multiple sources at the moment. If we pick up enough wins at least we force the matter one way or t'other.

Nice to see that The Sunday Times have one of their tables with the remaining fixtures in the 'race for fourth'. That's the remaining fixtures of Liverpool, United and Tottenham.

THIS is why I would absolutely love us to do it.
