Nice to see that The Sunday Times have one of their tables with the remaining fixtures in the 'race for fourth'. That's the remaining fixtures of Liverpool, United and Tottenham.

THIS is why I would absolutely love us to do it.
At least Thierry Henry just mentioned us. :)

In what sense..? Dismissively or does he say we can get in there..? I take notice of what Tierry Henry would say because he doesn't have any of that British big club baggage in his opinion.
He just said we won yesterday. Not much but at least he still considers us contenders.

The one result we do not want is a United win. A draw would be the best, but we'll be 4 points off 4th with a draw or a Liverpool win so one of those results will be fine.

Not for me. A Liverpool win is the worst result for us, in my book.

Liverpool have momentum behind them, and are full of confidence. Man Utd have the hardest run-in. Man Utd, in my view, are the more likely of the two to drop stupid points.

Utd currently having two more points than Liverpool isn't enough to override all of that, for me. If Liverpool win today and in their next game (vs Arsenal), then for me that is completely the end of our top four hopes (and Spurs' too). If Utd win today and in their next game (vs Villa), then I still think we'd have the smallest of chances.

But Liverpool are off to the Emirates next week. Even if they win today, they may not win the next.

Want in order: a draw, United win and......................................Liverpool win. We need Liverpool and Spurs to drop points. They have both been on late runs which have threatened us...a dry spell for both would do nicely. May mean we can only finish 5th (only...listen to me :)), but it reduces the number of teams going for top four. United win today, but then go on a losing spree...even better.

And Utd play City and Chelsea back to back in the two weeks immediately after Liverpool go to the Emirates.

I would much rather Utd win one of those three, than Liverpool win one of those two.
