Kelly Smith just announced international retirement after 20 years in football. When asked what she would miss the most, she said singing the National Anthem and then began to cry. Bless her......retirement for a sportsman must be so hard. She has also admitted to suffering depression...nasty illness.

LVG is a knob, I'd be embarrassed if he was our manager. Makes me appreciate Koeman even more!
 
Feel sorry for the press officer....she will probably be in trouble.

Koeman has far worse aimed at him by Mauricio...he suggested that Ron had an easy job, but it was brushed aside with a laugh. He didn't get out bar charts and graphs to show his achievements at Saints. When Van Gaal came to United, I thought they had done well to get him (though I would have given Moyes longer), but not any more. Gotta love Ron
 
New TV deals announced. In-****ing-sane. Expect Shane Long to sell for 25m any day now. £5.136bn to 20 Premier League clubs for 3 years TV rights.

Estimates have the money spread that the team that finishes BOTTOM could get 99 million pounds. First could get 156m.

Some talk about the clubs getting together so all the money doesn't just go to the players and agents....money for youth development, stadia, keeping ticket prices down (yeah, right) etc
