Hope not . And in reply to the other poster , because he got sacked and replaced by MP . Bet he is smiling .

Why? Poch took his team and made them a lot better. As Beef says, I'm sure he's far more concerned at what's happening at Reading than the fate of the man who took over and then moved on to another job!

JWP is still on the road to recovery, but he must be broken hearted to miss a chunk of this season. I'm not sure how much game time he would have got, but he may come back at a time when we need him (as tiredness and injuries kick in).

True , but as you say he built most of that squad , poch was lucky in that respect IMHO ( with hindsight ) .

Did he make us better? I suppose he influenced the players, but they were already a good side. Koeman wasn't happy with what the players were doing when he arrived...he actually said it made him want to cry to see them charging about. Koeman could have taken over from Adkins and produced a similar result...though he has since said it may have helped him starting with a largely new side.

In my opinion (and that of the players we're led to believe), yes he did. Markedly so. His deficiencies lie more in tactical stubbornness than coaching. But that's actually by the by - I was just commenting that I doubt Adkins has even a passing interest as to how Poch is doing at Spurs.
