What rough patch..?
I thought winning by only 1-0 was a rough patch

Well will they let Drogba keep that goal - in off a United player? We'll see. Probably favouring the favourite few unlike when our man was denied a hat trick.
I've only seen it live (have they even shown a replay from a decent angle yet?), but my first call was a dive from Di Maria.
Well, given the fact that they said Pelle's AND Mane's were own goals, that has to be an o.g. by Van Persie. it won't be, of course, but it should be ............![]()
We could quite feasibly win our next three games (tough though they are). Chelsea have QPR next then away to Liverpool. I don't know who the one after that is, but I'd very much like it to be tough. We could be top in three games time![]()
Exactly what I said.
Probably, but that is past, let's give them a Dickin at homeShould we be disappointed not taking points form Liverpool and Tottenham, just about everyone else seems to be doing it?
Don't care. They were Away matches. They are gone and past caring, although you learn from the experience, of course. If you want to post-mortem, then look at the performances themselves. Saints can consider themselves unlucky not to have got something from either game. Which means that in every game this season, Saints have not been beaten out of sight. There has been no 2-0 or 3-0. They've been close. That's important. More often than not, we've been turning these tight ones into results for us. Yesterday 1-0 - although the scoreline actually lied. 1-0 against Swansea. There will be other 1-0s or 2-1s and it's hugely important they end in Saints favour more often than not.
Then there was 0-0 with WBA. I've downloaded that game and have still to watch it in detail.![]()
I just hope there's no meltdown when we hit a rough patch.

Come on Fran, it's called winning ugly.![]()

I'm sure he'll be right over the whole season.
Need to be less sensitive about this stuff.
Yep. Own goal if ever I saw one. Drogba's header might have been saved by De Gea until Van Persie changed the direction hugely.Dubious goals panel need to chalk off Drogba's goal.
