Faust. We are surely having too many things going our way for it not to involve the supernatural :)

I'd go for Robert Johnson, who wrote about selling his soul to the devil in exchange for becoming one of the best blues guitarists of his generation in the song "Crossroads", later covered by Cream. Les Reed settled for being part of a Champions League-winning football club.

Well will they let Drogba keep that goal - in off a United player? We'll see. Probably favouring the favourite few unlike when our man was denied a hat trick.

I like Drogba, always have - he is/was a phenomenally impressive player.

Good player but I don't know how anyone could like him. Doing the sign of the cross multiples of times during the game is probable asking for forgiveness for all the diving, cheating, feigning injuries he does through a game.

I like him. I don't like diving, but as a footballer he was phenomenal - seemingly a bloody nice bloke off the field too, having read about him.

Just had a troll round the Spurs board and it seems their's growing unhappiness with the way things are progressing [shame]
they mention loads of possession but little penetration in the final third [sounds familiar]?
So it would seem, one or two more defeats in the coming weeks and poor old Poch will have his nuts well and truly squeezed?

Robbie Savage is clueless. "Don't think Shaw is defensively that great, you buy him as a wingback." He's just another one to add to the list of lazy journalists, anyone who watches Shaw knows his best asset is his defending.

Damn...we may have to settle for being runner up :)

Yeah, I know, bit of a downer, eh..?

ManU v Chelsea on 80 minutes. They might as well blow up for the end of the game now. ManU are industrious, but they're not going to score. That old thing about ManU not getting beat, they just run out of time. Well, they've run out of time already.
