If they do go on and lose, we'll end the weekend eight points and roughly nine places (maybe eight, maybe ten, depending on Everton and Villa) ahead of them. Nice.

Who will get the sack first..... Pards or Poch?
I know who my money is on....;)

Well it won't be Pards.

The stream I've got has Danny Murphy as the summariser, and he's being very critical of Pochettino's naive tactics. And I have to say, I can't disagree with him. Poch is doing all the things [i.e. hardly anything] we didn't like when things weren't going right for us. In comparison, Pards is being reactive and pro-active. If Newcastle don't get a result from this, it won't be from want of Pards trying. His players are definitely playing for him too.

Chucking away points from a winning position? Lots of chances but only one goal?

That seems familiar.

Should we be disappointed not taking points form Liverpool and Tottenham, just about everyone else seems to be doing it?

Don't care. They were Away matches. They are gone and past caring, although you learn from the experience, of course. If you want to post-mortem, then look at the performances themselves. Saints can consider themselves unlucky not to have got something from either game. Which means that in every game this season, Saints have not been beaten out of sight. There has been no 2-0 or 3-0. They've been close. That's important. More often than not, we've been turning these tight ones into results for us. Yesterday 1-0 - although the scoreline actually lied. 1-0 against Swansea. There will be other 1-0s or 2-1s and it's hugely important they end in Saints favour more often than not.

Then there was 0-0 with WBA. I've downloaded that game and have still to watch it in detail. :)
