I think it might be a bit early to say :)

I agree, I meant at this moment in time. :) Their signings have all impressed me. Plus montero is now used to the PL. They look good all over the park tbh. Sigurdsson is class, as is shelvey.
I'm not convinced that Gomis is the standard they need (aka as good as Bony), but he does have something about him.

If we can get a CB, and if Clasie can step up, we will see! I'm really excited.

I do agree, I think they've progressed. I like Gomis actually, he has parts of his game that Pelle could learn from (and vice versa in fairness). Love Sigurdsson too. Ayew looks a good signing - all the right attributes.

I like them as a team full stop, and I like the cut of Monk's gib too. They're definitely a "second favourite" type team for sure.

Honestly, they look short on depth and quality.

And McClaren is a buffoon. The football world seems to be unable to make up their minds but trust me he's a moron.

3-4 goals tomorrow to start the pressure will do nicely <cheers>

Really impressed by Swansea today, Montero, Ayew, Shelvey and Cork were all impressive. Cant make up my mind about Gomis, looks good one minute then very ordinary the next.
People saying they expect Everton to be in a relegation scrap suprise me, bad result today, but they are always slow starters, and i expect them to be top 8 this season. My 3 for relegation this season are Watford, Norwich and Sunderland, with Bompey,Villa and Leicester just above them.
I keep hearing in the media what a poor choice Leicester made in appointing Ranieri. I always liked him at Chelsea, and not sure why he is getting slated so much. I know he had a poor record as Greece manager, but they have looked an awful side for years, and in the last tournaments they have qualified for, have always looked to be one of the worst sides. I know who i would prefer as manager between him and Pearson.
Really think Spurs could struggle to get top 6 this season unless they get another striker in. Kane has looked pretty ordinary for a few months now, and i think teams have sussed out how to play against him.

Ref was good at the Swansea game.

Now please excuse me, I have to take a very long shower.

I wouldn't be so sure. Everton play all of last seasons top 8 teams in their next 9 games (with WBA away in between which is no given). They could well be 10 games in without a single win. Check it out, it's brutal.

We had a brutal start in our first season, but did okay once we settled in. Better to get early points on board though as the team must feel better. People seem confused about Everton....quite a few pundits think they will be above us.

The way Souness et al were dribbling about Petr Cech before the game today, you'd think he would take all the free kicks and score 20+ goals for Arsenal this season. Was always going to be a cock-up from him that led to a goal.

I mean great player, yes, but some of the praise had me reaching for the bucket...
