Should have waited for your answer...found it eventually on Carling Cup site. Obviously don't need too crowded a fixture list, but I always liked League Cup football.

When do we enter the League Cup....presumably delayed by our European matches.

My own feelings are that the PL clubs involved in Europe should bin this competition. There is enough to contend with such as internationals, CL and EL matches and then the FA Cup. European places should go to the highest finishers not winners of the League Cup or whatever it is called these days.
