... before @RTB jumps in with his usual excellent match thread.

Our plan is to meet up in the Three Tuns pub around 10.30am ... https://great-british-pubs.co.uk/locations/three-tuns-high-wycombe/

There's a bus to the ground including11.23 and 11.40 which takes about 10 minutes. For a 'family' of five it's a tenner return back to the pub/station. If you've not been before it's a pretty depressing place tbh. The town, area round the ground, Hourglass pub near the ground, walk to the ground and the ground are as dreary as can be. The only reason to go is to pick up 3 points and laugh at their manager's ridiculous touchline antics.

Their supporters are slightly snide pretend Cockneys who are best ignored. The Hourglass pub is scruffy and a bit edgy at times but the worst is the service which is dreadful on match days. The Tesco, across the road, is OK though.

Haway the Lads, take the points and rub their noses in it with a few goals.

I reckon I only went to Wycombe when Wasps played there.

Has the player who did Watmore moved on?

Looking for 2 tickets if you come across any mate.

Didn't mind our last visit there (aside from the football standard!). Thought the club was reasonably accommodating and friendly. Bogs were horrific though and the bairn (then 8 yo) taking a **** just after the half time rush is an image which will stay with me for life

Pretty sure he retired a season or so ago, mate. Though I could be wrong and it might have been the "you're in our house" ****er who retired. They aren't a club that I've got any time for and I really hope they bomb down the league as soon as possible.

Marcus Bean - retired now.

That was a mad game though

I don't think it'll be a problem tbh, I've asked the usual suspects and one of them will no doubt help.

I reckon a few, who bought tickets, will drop out because of the kick off time and Covid issues.

I'll keep you posted, should be toaday.

Ok smug, much appreciated.

Alves has covid. We do have additional injuries going into Saturday but Winch could he ok. Wouldn't comment in transfer speculation.
He seemed a bit more subdued than normal imo.

A few covid cases in the squad. I wouldn’t mind if this was postponed rather than gointo it weakened.

I'm of the opposite, view tbh.

I've seen enough in cup games to kow that we can give anyone a game with this squad ...

... if the season is falling apart I'd rather risk grabbing another three points.

I was actually thinking that as I typed. We certainly have the players to cope with quite a few missing. It depends who is out though. Stewart out would leave us with no decent strikers.
