I chose mine, marra, behind the goal just about where I sit in The Fulwell End, and felt comfortable with a 'normal' view :emoticon-0148-yes:

Then I thought . . . . I'll be watching it on the telly so I'll be on the half way line, like everybody else, so I'd better get to my settee sharpish before the rush :emoticon-0136-giggl
Just noticed you can actually sit yourself in the players "dugout"
Think I'll bag one of them early before the teams come out

Apologies if this is repetition, not had much time to look through the thread.
I was wondering how many SAFC fans have attended all our Wembley trips since 1973. Can only be a low number. I was at both days of Mercantile Credit trophy, we took 3k or maybe 4k. Got on really well with tranmere and wolves fans either side. Anyway with people no longer with us the number who have been at them all must be a few hundred, 1500ish. I've always been unlucky but am proud to be one of those SAFC fans. Upset I can't be there this time but Haway the Lads.

Does having a ticket for them all count.
I have been to them all except 1992. I had a ticket but got my dates badly wrong.
Was working laying pipes on Mull of Kintyre. Stuck in a cabin outside Campletown. Long story but just couldn't get away.
All you could get was the Scottish football so had to drive to the other side of the Mull where you could get Northern Irish radio they had the game on

I cant wait for this, already starting to countdown until I can crack the first beer and settle in for the big match. People can mock if they want but it is Wembley, cup final, silverware. It is a modern thing to devalue some trophies but ask me as a fan and winning things is still a yardstick.

I also think winning is crucial to our league form. Winning breeds confidence. Winning trophies breeds confidence and arrogance. Lets win because it will help us keep going in the league.

Wembley is some stadium mind - missed out the last 2 times due to not having a season ticket.

Would love to go there. Went to the play offs in 98 and was in awe of that stadium but this is something else.

Fantastic inside for watching the game
but they're making a bit of a dogs dinner of it outside with all the tower blocks

Liked the old walk up Wembley way with the twin towers in the distance

Yeah, that was tremendous.

With the new Wembley way, thank God for the bin shelters. There was a large group of us drinking cans there, and there wasn't too many places to go for a piss. You could have wet yourself while waiting in the queues to get in that Hotel. Police knew that toilet facilities were inadequate, and turned a blind eye (not a japs one!)
