I agree on Can,unless we make another move in the transfer market Can will move to DM in front of the back four with Hendo and Milner ahead.

Lucas and Allen for cover. Can's not unfamiliar with that position apparently, if he can make the position his own this season that would be a big positive

I'd want Can behind those two though OR because I think Hendo's best form for us has always been as a midfielder playing further up the field.
Trouble is, you'd have to nail Can to the ground to stop him surging forward as well.
I'm open -minded and will wait to see how it turns out- but it still looks a highly vulnerable defensive set-up no matter how we arrange it.
I'm just hoping that we spend most of the time sticking them in at the other end so it doesn't matter.
If only there was such a thing as a 30 goal, lunatic cannibal South American striker.........

Massive for us mate. As always there are no guarantees but he certainly looks a player who should be decent in that role.

As long as one of them sits if can goes forward I don't see too much of an issue. Unless we play Lucas, don't have a natural DM in those 3 so if one goes forward, others need to sit and hold.

Lads... it's a team of 11 and if can has to use other attributes for the good of the team other than just legging bit about then I'm all for it.

There's 10 others with him so if he sits and as a result others can play higher and better great.

Do you want coutinho 50 yards from goal or 25 yards for example.

I'm all for can playing a holding role if his passing and organisation is good. Especially if the two cbs look better than they did yesterday with him there

Looking forward to todays game more than yesterdays. Cant wait to see Benteke and Firminho. And also teix, Can and Mark o' vich will be out to impress

Same. But gutted it's only on lfctv so can't see it.

Getting to watch firmino and benteke in action would have been nice

Teams up:

Liverpool team: Bogdan, Alexander-Arnold, Moreno, Toure, Sakho, Lucas, Can, Allen, Markovic, Firmino, Benteke.

Substitutes: Fulton, Cleary, Ojo, Chirivella, Maguire, Kent.

teixeira is either:

1. Injured
2. Changed his name to Alexander Arnold
3. getting Suso'd out of the club. (impress and then forgotten.)

I really hope its not 3!

Keeper absolutely wiped out Fimino early on. Should have been a pen, more concerned that he isn't injured though
