firmino is the only really good spot here.

its just average right now... not up to the top standard.

Emre Can - looking forward to seeing him develop. Far more talented than Milner and Henderson.
He doesn't look in shape either which imo is now highly worrying. Allen has proved brittle again.
I still say lfc have strengthen the really bad areas but we don't have unlimited finance so right now cm looks the area that will break for us first

The only annoying thing about this pre season is we've played no one that's tested us defensively so bit worried that's Rodgers hasn't had a good chance to look at that and they haven't had enough chance to get sharp for first game
The quality of opposition has been garbage this preseason which is a worry.
Central midfield looks poor defensively - Lucas is bypassed far too easily and does not cover ground. Can and Tex are very good on the ball and make things happen.
Firmino is class and he has to start next week. Markovic does the hard things but then lets himself down with the final ball.
Benteke linked play well at times but missed a sitter, and got in Firmino's way for another golden chance.
All in all, the attack looks far more cohesive and we're getting in much better positions.
A front 3 of Coutinho, Firmino and Sturridge will cause havoc.

Dortmund were fighting relegation the year we played them
still played cl and got to german cup final.
the point is as you full well know we can hammer someone 4 or 5 and then be total dross.
